know and explore the clubs and organizations that is offered in Marikina Science High
School. They will be able to join and belong to the club they are most interested in.
III. Project Description

The activity will start at 12:00 PM, approximately start of lunch time. It will be conducted at the MSHS
Grounds where the officers of the different clubs and organizations will be given a space to set-up their booth.
We’ve suggested different styles of endorsing like games, interactive presentations, and the like. Officers
were given the liberty to strategize on how they will promote their club or organization.

The enlistment system will give priority to Grade 7 students. They will be given the privilege to be the
first ones to go around the booths. Students will gradually go around the booths and list their name on the
club and organization they have chosen. As they list their name, the officers will hand them a membership
form – Certificate of Membership which signifies as their official membership in their club or organization.
With this, it is understood that the clubs and organizations will follow a first come, first served basis following
the limit shown in Table 1. The event will end at 4:00 PM so officers are given time to pack-up and students
to clean the surroundings.

1. Endorse the different clubs and organizations to the fresh students of Marikina Science High School
and;
2. Showcase the different objectives and plans of the said clubs and organizations for the entire school
year;
3. Encourage the students to choose the club and organization suited to their preferences, abilities, and
talents.
4. Develop the well-being of students through practice of proper decision making and critical thinking.
5. Exercise their right to one club and one organization as it is said on the by-laws.
V. Ideal Impact of the Project

Through this annual activity, the students will maximize and critique themselves whether they are suitable
to a particular club and organization or not. By choosing a club and organization, the students will have a
sense of belongingness to a group that shares his/her common interests. He/she will learn and exhibit
camaraderie throughout the year as he/she will participate in the activities of the different clubs and
organizations. As the priority of this event are the first-year learners, by this, they will also have a chance to
discover and switch clubs or organization throughout the next following years.
