IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Candidates should report at the Biometric Desk in the examination venue 90 minutes prior to the commencement of the test. Late comers will not be given additional
time for the test. The gates will be closed 10 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
2. Candidate must bring a valid identity proof in original (voter’s id card/driving license/ school/college identity card/ passport/aadhar card/e-aadhar colour
printout/PAN card) along with this admit card
3. Obtain the signature of invigilator for each test in the admit card and keep it in safe custody till the completion of admission procedures.
4. For test code 101, minimum of 10 marks each is required for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for inclusion in the rank list (no minimum marks for Kerala
SC/Kerala ST candidates).
5. Three marks will be awarded for each right answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
6. Discrepancies, if any in the admit card must be brought to the notice of IRAA unit, CUSAT immediately and well in advance before the test date.
7. Admit card is purely provisional. Admission is subject to fulfilment of all the eligibility criteria as per the prospectus 2019 published in the web site
admissions.cusat.ac.in.
8. Impersonation in the examination is a legally punishable offence.

General Instructions
1. This Admit Card is provisional and the candidate is not entitled for any admission purely on receipt of the admit card.
2. All candidates are directed to strictly follow the instructions given below as well as those displayed on the login screen at the time of online test.
3. This test will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates are advised to take a sample computer based test (Mock test) through the link provided on the web site
admissions.cusat.ac.in to familiarise with the CBT.
4. Candidates must produce the downloaded Admit Card along with a valid Identity proof in original (Voter’s ID card/Driving License/School or College Identity
Card/Passport/Aadhar Card /e-aadhar colour printout/PAN card) at the test centre, failing which the candidate will not be permitted to attend the test.
5. Candidates who do not possess any of the identity proofs mentioned above should prepare an Identity Certificate (in duplicate) in the prescribed format with
his/her photo and signature affixed in the space provided, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer of State or Central Government, and should bring it to the examination

6. Candidates should carry normal blue/black ball point pen and are not allowed to share with or borrow any items from other candidates during the course of the test.

7. Candidate whose photo and /or signature is not printed properly on the Admit Card, should affix a recent passport size photo on the downloaded Admit Card and affix
signature in the presence of a Gazetted Officer of State or Central Govt., and get the name and signature attested by the Officer.
8. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without completing Bio-Metric registration.
9. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the commencement of examination.
10. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the expiry of the scheduled duration of the test.
11. Use of books, writing pads, notebooks, Logarithm tables, electronic devices such as Scientific Data Book, Calculator, Mobile Phone, Watch with Calculator, Pen
Scanner, reprographic devices, camera, data recording devices, etc. are not permitted in the examination hall.
12. Rough work is to be done on the blank sheets given at the test centre. Candidate should write his/her Roll No. on the blank sheets given for rough work.
13. Refreshments / smoking are not permitted inside the examination hall.
14. Candidates found copying or resorting to any unfair means including seeking help from other candidate during the test or violating any conditions of test will
summarily be disqualified. Such candidates will also forfeit all claims for admission in the University in future.
15. Personal belongings including mobile phones shall be kept outside the examination hall at candidate’s own risk. The candidates are advised not to bring personal
belongings of high value while coming for the examinations and the University or Examination centre shall not be responsible in case the items are lost/stolen.
16. Candidates should maintain complete silence during the examination and communication in any form between candidates or with outsiders will be treated as
malpractice.
17. Candidates may approach the Chief Superintendent of the venue in case of any difficulty and should abide by his/her instructions and decisions. Complaints, if any,
regarding the examination should be given in writing to the Chief Superintendent of the centre.
18. Results/Schedule of Allotment/Admission will not be communicated individually. The candidates shall periodically visit the website admissions.cusat.ac.in and
candidates home page to get the latest information regarding these matters.
19. In the case of Integrated M Sc programmes for (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Staticstics), students have to opt their choice of subject after 2 years and allotment
will be based on their performance (SGPA) in the first four semesters.
20. Prompt and proper submission of option registration and completion of counselling/admission procedures are essential to consider for counselling for admission.
21. The detailed schedule/instructions for option registration/counselling/admission will be published in the web site admissions.cusat.nic.in
