Sliding weights were adjusted to zero
position prior to weighing of learner

1.2 ACTUAL MEASURING OF WEIGHT
Learner was instructed to remove shoes,

heavy objects inside the pockets and heavy
outer clothing (jacket)
Learner was instructed to stand still in the
center of the platform
Learner was standing unassisted in the center

of the platform without touching anything
and asked to look straight ahead, standing
relaxed but still
Measurement was read at the eye level and
recorded
2. HEIGHT MEASUREMENT
2.1.1 CHECKING OF WEIGHT MEASURING INSTRUMENT (MICROTOISE)
Microtoise is placed and mounted in a flat
wall surface
Microtoise is fixed on the wall with screw or
nail
"0" on the indicator line when Microtoise
reached the floor/ground
2.1.2 CHECKING OF WEIGHT MEASURING INSTRUMENT (FOR HEIGHT MEASURING ROD IN
BEAM BALANCE SCALE)
Measurement in the height measuring rod is
clear and visible
Height measuring rod is easy to pull up and
down
2.2.1 ACTUAL MEASURING OF HEIGHT (MICROTOISE)
Learner was instructed to remove
shoes/slippers and hair accessories
Learner was instructed to stand straight
directly below the point of attachment
Learner was standing straight heels together,

back heels, buttocks, and back of head
touching the vertical wall, shoulder relaxed
and head looking straight
Head bar of the microtoise pulled down on

the learner's head until it presses the hair.
Measurement was read on the red line or
indicator at the eye level and recorded
2.2.2 ACTUAL MEASURING OF HEIGHT (FOR HEIGHT MEASURING ROD IN BEAM BALANCE
SCALE)
Learner was instructed to face forward and

to stand straight with arms hanging loosely at
their sides.
Headpiece was pulled down until it rest on

the learner's head and presses the hair
Measurement was read on the indicator and

recorded
"For above height 120cm, height must be
read on the indicator at the height rod while
for height below 120cm, height must be read
below the headpiece."
