C. ISNPECTION AS PER IS 14665 CHECK LIST :

D.9 Current reading at different load
a. No load current and voltage readings both on ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ Circuits.
b. Full load current and voltage readings both on ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ Circuits.
c. One and quarter load current and voltage readings both on ‘Up and ‘Down’
Circuits.
Continuous operation of the elevator under full load conditions and simulated starts and stops for
D. 10 one hour at the end of which time the service temperature of the motor and the operating coils shall
be tested. This shall be as per I.S. specification.
The car shall be loaded until the weight on the rope is twice the combined weight of the car and the
D. 11 specified load. The load must be carried on for about 30 minutes, without any sign of weakness,
temporary set or permanent elongation of the suspension rope strands.
