NA - Sharp stroke played with 1st finger on Kinar with 3rd finger touching the Sur and edge of
Gab
Tin - Resonant stroke with 1st finger on Sur with 3rd finger touching the Sur and Gab
Tun - Open resonant stroke played on the Syahi with 1st finger
Tet - Closed stoke played with2nd, 3rd, and 4th fingers in the middle of the Syahi
Te - Closed stroke played with 1st finger in the middle of the Syahi
(These 2 bols when played together are also known as Tete = 2 notes played in succession)
Tere - Like Tete but played with the whole “cupped” hand with center of hand over center of the
Syahi

Ge - Resonant stroke played with2nd and 3rd or just 1st finger just above the Syahi
Ke - Closed stroke played with whole top half of the hand w/ fingers close to the edge
Kat - Closed stroke same as Ke but you life the entire hand and play with palm and fingers

Na + Ge = Dha
Tin + Ge = Dhin
Tet + Ge = Dhet
Ge + Te(re) = Dhere (2 notes in succesion)
Tun + Ge = Dhi
Ke + Tin (played as a flam with Ke before Tin) = Kran
Dhere - Like Tete but played with the whole “cupped” hand with center of hand over center of
the Syahi and playing Ge on the 1st Dhe
