Dear Applicant,

1. This is to inform you that the PU Administration has approved the introduction of
MBA(Entrepreneurship) with effect from the Academic Session 2019-2020 (The details
of the MBA(Entrepreneurship) course, Syllabus etc. has already been uploaded on the
UBS admissions website). The candidates who would be attending second counselling of
UBS on 27/28/29th May, 2019 for first time, shall be required to bring the fee in the form
of drafts as per details provided (Breakup of seats given at Appendix-I, Details of Fee
payable given at Appendix-II).
2. The seats in MBA(Entrepreneurship) course shall be filled during the second counselling
of UBS as per the provisional merit list of the candidates already displayed on UBS
Admissions website for admission to MBA/MBA(IB)/MBA(HR) Program for the
academic session 2019-20. If any seat of MBA (Entrepreneurship) remains vacant after
counselling scheduled on 27.05.2019 and 28.05.2019, the same would be filled on
29.05.2019 (Merit wise from remaining candidates in waiting list).
3. Those candidates who have already been admitted and are waitlisted in the first counselling
that was held on 2nd May, 2019 (General category) and 3rd May, 2019 (Reserved Category)
would also be considered for admission to MBA(Entrepreneurship) course during
counselling schedule on 27/28/29th May, 2019.
4. The candidates who have already been admitted in MBA/MBA(IB)/MBA(HR) during the
first counselling held on 2nd May, 2019 (General Category) and 3rd May, 2019 (Reserved
Category), and are interested in changing their stream to MBA(Entrepreneurship) are
required to come to UBS office on 27th May, 2019 at 09:00 A.M (General category)/27th
May, 2019 at 2:00 P.M (Reserved category) and are also required to deposit the extra fee
amounting to Rs. 37,965/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of The
Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
5. Vacant seats in MBA, MBA(IB) and MBA(HR) would also be filled up during the
second counselling and the interested candidates are required to attend the counselling to
 be held on 28.05.2019 (General category) at 09:00 A.M /28.05.2019 (Reserved Category)
at 2:00 P.M.
6. If a candidate has already been admitted in MBA/MBA(IB)/MBA(HR) during the
first counselling, but he/she fails to attend the second counselling for changing his/her
stream to MBA/MBA(IB)/MBA(HR)/MBA(Entrepreneurship), then he/she shall
forfeit his/her right for being considered for any vacant seat available during second
counselling or thereafter for any change in stream for MBA(Full Time) courses at
UBS.
7. If a candidate is unable to attend the second counselling personally, he/she may send an
authorized representative with a notarized affidavit (as per details given at point 8(b) in
page no. 5 in UBS Handbook of Information 2019)

8. Candidates who are attending second counselling but have not been admitted in
MBA/MBA(IB)/MBA(HR) course during first counselling would be required to bring the
following documents alongwith photocopies of Original degrees and marks sheets of 10th,
12th and qualifying examination. If result of qualifying examination has not been declared,
a Character Certificate from the last institution attended must be produced. It is absolutely
necessary to produce the result of qualifying examination by August 31, 2019 by 12.00
noon. In the absence of proof of having qualified with requisite percentage of marks, the
admission shall automatically stand cancelled.
9. Original and appropriate certificate (as per format given in the UBS Handbook of
Information 2019) for claiming reservation under any category must be produced by the
concerned candidates.
10. The eligibility of candidates shall be provisional at every successive stage of admission
process. It will be the responsibility of the candidate to make sure his/her eligibility and fulfill
various conditions for admission as prescribed in the University Business School (UBS) Handbook
of Information 2019 and as per other Rules & Regulations of the University. Admission can be
cancelled at any stage in case the candidate is found to be ineligible.

11. After admission, a Migration Certificate would be required from the University/Institution
last attended in case the admitted candidate belongs to an institution other than Panjab
University, Chandigarh.

 Appendix-II
Candidates seeking admission to MBA/MBA(IB)/MBA(HR)are required to deposit
fee as per details given below:

1. The candidates will have to deposit Rs. 12,035/-* (1st semester) in the form of
DD in favour of REGISTRAR, PANJAB UNIVERSITY, CHANDIGARH,
payable at Chandigarh, as payment of first installment of tuition fee and other
University charges (fee under revision*).

2. Further, the candidates will have to deposit another Rs. 19,000/- per annum in
form of DD in favour of CHAIRMAN, UNIVERSITY BUSINESS SCHOOL,
PANJAB UNIVERSITY, CHANDIGARH, payable at Chandigarh, towards
Summer Placement, Teaching materials and Computer Charges etc.

3. The candidates, who are coming from other universities, will have to deposit
an additional Rs. 800/- in the form of DD in favour of REGISTRAR, PANJAB
UNIVERSITY, CHANDIGARH, payable at Chandigarh. This is charged
extra for Migration Fee and other charges

Candidates seeking admission to MBA(Entrepreneurship) are required to deposit fee
