THESIS STATEMENT
Today, most of the world’s energy needs are fulfilled by energy derived from fossil fuels. As
we know fossil fuels have many negative impacts for our environtment. Fossil fuels produce gas
with a high percentage of carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is one of greenhouse gases that can
aggravate global warming. Global warming is a threat that can endager human life. Many disasters
will be caused if global warming is not immediately stopped. So, we need another way to stop
using fossil fuels as our main sources. The other way to stop using fossil fuels is green energy.
Green energy represents all the clean sources of power that are generated using the natural source
of energy available on the earth. Green energy are friendly with environment releasing zero
emissions and are also renewable, we also can find green energy everywhere so green energy is
cheap. There are several benefit of green energy for our life such as reduce non-renewable energy
and reduce pollution. There are various type of green energy such as sun, wind, water, geothermal,
waves, biomassa,etc.

B. BODY PARAGRAPH: THE DEVELOPMENT OF CONTROLLING IDEAS

COUNTER ARGUMENT I AND REFUTATION:
- COUNTER ARGUMENT: green energy needs large area, we can only built it at certain
place and green energy can cause emission.
- REFUTATION: eventhought green energy need large area but it doesn’t damage the
environment and green energy can reduce the negative impact of fossil fuels.
COUNTER ARGUMENT II AND REFUTATION
- COUNTER ARGUMENT: the development of green energy technology need much cost.
- REFUTATION: green energy sources are free and increase job demand.
COUNTER ARGUMENT III AND REFUTATION
- COUNTER ARGUMENT: the energy produced by green energy is not sufficient to fill
the energy needs.
- REFUTATION: indonesia has a lot of green energy sources
PRO ARGUMENT:
the continuity of human life is depend on green energy, because green energy
doesn’t produce chemical pollution which is really affect in our life, so green energy
doesn’t interfere human healt and green energy sources never extinct. The developing of
green energy will increase job demand.
C. CONCLUSION:
In conclusion, green energy has some benefit such as green energy doesn’t produce
chemical pollution which is really affect in our life, so green energy doesn’t interfere
human health and green energy sources never extinct. Although green energy also has
some weakness point like green energy needs large area and need much cost to develop the
technology.
