HOW CAN THE PHILIPPINES

ACHIEVE ECONOMIC JUSTICE?

Economic justice is a component of social justice. It is a set of moral principles for


building economic institutions, the ultimate goal of which is to create an
opportunity for each person to create a sufficient material foundation upon which
to have a dignified, productive, and creative life. Economic justice is the idea that
the economy will be more successful if it is fairer. For the Philippines achieve
economic justice, we need the right choice of our government.
Our country faces many economic problems this era and some people doesn’t
achieve justice. For us, in order to achieve it for our country, we need to follow
the rules and regulations of our government.
First, the right choice of government leaders and officials. We need to choose
wisely for our government leaders so that they can easily manage and help our
society. They also help the government to run smoothly. We need to choose
government officials wisely so that they can give us justice regarding those
problems what we are facing now like poverty.
Second, the society must follow the laws or regulations of the government
leaders and officials. Of course, the government don’t just take action by
themselves only. We, people of the society need to participate too. Always
remember, unity is the key.
Third, pay fair. Paying tax can really help, It can create fairness about money to
help out society. Like, for building public schools and public hospitals for us to
use. The money you pay in taxes goes to many places. In addition to paying the
salaries of government workers, your tax also help to support common resources,
such as police and firefighters.
Fourth, help to minimize crime in your community. You should participate.
Promote your local government and law enforcement. Promote their
organizations and their events to help create awareness so others in your
community can also be educated. Lastly, Don’t just follow your local laws, but
defend them. You can help prevent crime through community policing.
