The Unit is a Partnership Firm. The promoter’s family has a proven track
record of financial and operational performance. This is the first factory
which had produced White Sugar in Bidar Dist.in the year 1967 (prior to any
of the existing Co-operative Sugar Mills). The Unit is strategically located in
sugarcane grown area. The firm is in existence in the area for more than 45
years and enjoys a very sound reputation among sugarcane cultivators of the
area.

The micro nutrients present in the jaggery possess antitoxic and anti-
carcinogenic properties.
Of the total world production, more than 70% of the jaggery is produced in
India.
The development of different value added products from jaggery and their
commercial availability becomes need of the hour to sustain future profitability
in the jaggery trade.
Present Proposal
The other forms of jaggery viz., jaggery powder, jaggery liquid etc. would be
planned in the future.
1. About 170 tones of cane per day is supplied by the local growers by about
100 bullock-carts within the radius of 2-3 Kms. A quantity of about 20,000
tones of cane is expected in 4 months season.
2. About 120 MTs per day from own harvesting & transport through 6
Agents totaling to 15,000 MTs for the season.
3. About 300 MTs per day through 20 Cutting Labour Gangs with Trucks
totaling to about 35,000 MTs for the season.

The total power requirement for the sugar manufacturing unit is supplied
from Turbo Alternator set of 750 KW capacity of ABB Alstom make (Presently
SIEMENS) with JYOYHI make Alternator complete with control panel board
and power board with cabling. The firm also has a connected load of 600 KVA
power from KPTCL.
DG Set
ONE No. Kirloskar Cummins make 163.5 and 2 Nos Kirloskar 63.5 sets.
Water
The present requirement of water is 2000 LPD. The water requirement for
the plant is being met out of the two bore wells and two open wells.
Regular
Market for jaggery is round the year whereas its production is only during
the sugarcane season and thus factory works for around 6 to 7 months every
year. Apart from individual households, it is used in large quantities in
restaurants, road-side dhabas, other eateries, hostels and clubs and by
caterers. It has shelf-life of more than couple of months.
