This appointment assigns you to render the authorized services as Adviser which are to:

1. Guide the student in the conduct of the research work within, and if so required,
outside the Bicol University;
2. Assist in monitoring the progress of the student’s work until the final oral defense and
the submission of the manuscript final copy ;
3. Ensure that the suggestions/recommendations of the Thesis Evaluation Panel are
judiciously adhered to;
4. Require the advisee to
a. Submit the draft final copies of the manuscript one week before the
scheduled defense
b. Submit three (3) hard bound final manuscripts at most two weeks before the
final examination.
5. Be available during consultation schedule agreed upon;
6. Serve as recorder during the thesis defense.

1. Thoroughly assess the paper in terms of the parts/basic components of the thesis;
2. Make sure all the suggestions are judiciously incorporated;
3. Evaluate the research report based on the following criteria

With this assignment, you are entitled to fifty-percent only of the authorized full
incentive for such services the amount of which is reflected in the table above. It is understood
that the other fifty-percent shall be in payment for services rendered in the proposal defense.

This Memorandum also serves as your Travel Order to said venue on the specified date
and time and purpose.
