Application equipment’s:
Steel, scrapper, Cotton waste, Solvent cleaner, measuring tape, Cutting knife, scissors

SECTION II: APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Surface Preparation:
The surface should be dry and all loose dirt and other particles should be brushed away and
cleaned. Apply a cement sand mortar bed for providing an even surface for laying the damp
proof membrane.

Application:
Corner pieces of 150mm width and 200 mm length are to be cut and put in all the internal and external
corner joints.
Unroll the NEO DAM PROOF MEMBRANE roll and lay loosely on top of the wet cement
sand mortar bed. Cavities or perforations must be completely filled with the mortar prior
to the laying of the DPC. Ensure that the width of the roll covers the entire wall thickness
including pointing and renderings.
Overlapping of a minimum 100 mm is to be given when two rolls are joined. The overlaps are to be
properly sealed with a good quality masking tape.
Place the DPC up to 150 mm on the up-stand. A contact adhesive may be used to hold the DPC in place till
the blocks or bricks are put into place.
Block or brick works can be commenced immediately after laying the DPC. However, it is to be ensured
that the immediate layer of blocks or bricks shall not have any sharp protrusions, which may damage the

NEOFOAM CONRETE CHEMICAL.

NEOFOAM is a light yellow light concrete foaming agent for use in all light and cellular concrete and screeds.
Foamed (cellular) concrete may have densities from as low 500 kg/m3 to 1600kg/m3 and strength from less than
1 N/mm2 to 25 N/mm2.
Our foaming agents are of good quality and have been proven by its usage in many countries around the world
for various applications such as block production, pre cast panels, in-situ concrete, and decorative concrete e and
void filling.

Foam concrete is produced by incorporating a uniform structure of fine air bubbles into a concrete mix
consisting of cement, water and optionally sand. Precise volume management of the air content in the mix is
controlled by the amount of added foam, which is produced from a specially designed liquid concentrate using a
foam generator. Foam concrete has a wide range of applications including pre-cast, geotechnical fill, foundation
plates, structural applications and void filling.

Advantages of FC

 Reliable. Foam Concrete is inherently a very long-lasting material

 Excellent insulating material % allow fast construction
 Highly workable material that can be easily poured into various shapes
 Providing additional acoustic insulation for floors and roofs.
 It is also possible to make foam concrete with a very smooth, consistent
surface – something that is very difficult with regular concrete.
 Can be a sturdy fire-resistant barrier providing satisfactory protection for
hours.

Dilution

Dilution of foam concentrate can vary from 1:33 to 1: 39

1 liter FA 300+ 39 lit water = 40 lit premix foaming solution
40 lit premix expands to about 500 lit stable foam @ about 80 g/lit foam weight

Uses

 FA300 is compatible with most of the foam generators.

 Roof Slope without un necessary weight on the building
 Good thermal and cold insulation for roof and wall
 Insulation of pipes in cold conditions.

The quality of the cement is directly determined to the strength of the concrete. So, it should be
fresh and fine .The water should meet the STD of drinking water.

Water-Cement ratio is very critical due to its effect on the quality of the foam concrete. It has
been noticed that the most advantages water-cement ration lies between 0.4 and 0.45

And one cubic meter of foam concrete requires between 400-450 kg of cement depending on
initial densities.

PVC Mesh Angle Bead
Edge profile with integrated
glass fibre mesh

Characteristics
Technical Data Sheet

Application • For exterior use

• For corner formation with facade insulation systems

Properties • In plastic
• With integrated glass fibre mesh

Format • Length: 250 cm

•Mesh leg length 10 x10 cm

Substrate
Requirements Facade insulation systems:
An adequate cured bonding of the insulation boards must be guaranteed (refer to
the drying-/ setting time of the organic adhesive compound or mineral bonding
mortar in the current respective technical data sheet).

The surface of the insulation board must be clean, dry , even and without offsets;
flush edges.

Refurbishment of rendered surfaces:

The substrate must be firm, dry, load-bearing and free from materials affecting the
adhesive force ( e.g. grease and dust).
Please test the stability of the surface and check if there are cavities.

Preparation Refurbishment of plastered surfaces:

Remove mortar burrs; level uneven areas with an approbiate mortar

Application
Application Apply the reinforcing plaster in the width of the mesh over entire surface area.
Insert the mesh angle bead perpendicular, flush, free of bubbles and folds.
Reinforcing plaster should be trowelled off by a stainless steel trowel (to avoid
double up of the reinforcing plaster in the edge area).
When applying to the surface as reinforcement, spread out the mesh towards the
corner.
The reinforcement of reveals and edges of the reveals may be done in one
application cycle with the help of a mesh angle bead.
For this the integrated glass fibre mesh must be applied to the edge of the rear
reveal and levelled into the existing reinforcement plaster.
When using seal beads: overlap the strip of mesh of the seal bead and mesh angle
bead for a minimum of 10 cm.

proper into the Neo Inject GH 67. Avoid mixing humid air into this material. The ready mix can
be pumped by means of a single component injection pump, that is equipped for higher pres-
sure.

This is necessary to withstand the water pressure. After the injection the pump must be cleaned
with N-methylpyrolidon (NMP) (these products may not contain any water)

Neo Inject GH 40
General Properties and Applications Neo Inject GH 40 is a polyol component based on polyether polyols. The
component is already dried and degassed to avoid foaming during the reaction
with the respective isocyanate component. After mixing the components an
exothermal reaction starts from which a solid end product is obtained. The
polyol is solvent- and filler-free.
Together with he iscocyanate Urestyl 10 it is ideally suited for the elastic
sealing of cracks and breaks in concrete and brick structures as well as other
areas suffering from water leakage problems. If an leakage of water has to
be stopped Neo Injec t GH 40/Urestyl 10 should be applied in combination with
Neo Inject GH 67/Neo-Cat 710; a so-called waterstop system. Neo Inject GH
67/Fox-O-Cat 710 will first locate the water and react it away, after which the
injection of Neo Inject GH 40/10 can be carried out.
Sampling Mositre access during sampling should be avoided.

Directions for Processing Although Neo Inject GH 40/Urestyl 10 is a two component system, it can be
used as a one component system too. Both operation processes are described
below.
A. NEO INECT GH 40/10 AS A ONE COMPONENT SYSTEM
1. Add the required amount of Urestyl 10 to Neo Inject GH 40;
2. Mix it thorougly until homogeneous mixture has been obtained, which will
be the case in about 2 minutes;
3. The mix can now be pumped means of a single component injectionpump.
Keep in mind that the potlife is 45 …60 minutes at 20°C.
Neo Inject GH 40

After the injection the pump should be cleaned with methylene chloride or
1,1,1-trichloroethane.
B. NEO INECT GH 40/10 AS A TWO COMPONENT SYSTEM
Using Resicast GH 40 / Urestyl 10 as a two component system, it can be
applied by means of a metering/mixing machine. As a result of the low viscosity
of both components a usual simple static mixer can be used.
If Neo Inject GH 40/10 is applied as a two component system, the possibility
is open to speed up the curing time of the resin. The speed of the chemical
reaction can be adjusted by adding a special type of catalyst to the Neo Inject
GH 40. This special catalyst is produced and supplied under the name of
Neo -CAT 220.
The application process of the two component system is as follows.
1. Start from the required geltime;
2. Add the corresponding amount of Neo -CAT 220 to Neo Inject GH 40 and
stir homogeneously after which the compound will be
ready for use;
3. Now connect the containers of both components to the mixing machine and
start pumping.
After injection the pumps and mixing head should be cleaned with methylene
chloride or 1,1,1-trhichloroethane.
The following graph clearly indicates the influence of adding Neo-CAT 220
to the Neo Inject GH 40. The amount of catalyst added is profiled against the
resultant geltime.

Uretsyl 10

Directions for Processing Urestyl 10 may undergo partial crystallization at temperatures below 0 °C. The
product can, however, be brought back into the liquid state by heating the
entire contents of the drum for a short time to a maximum of 70 °C, although
this may lead to an increase in the solids content.
Drums including empty ones should always be kept tightly sealed. The product
should never be allowed to come into contact with water, which reacts with
Urestyl 10 to form polyureas and carbon dioxide. Contact with water in any
form (damp drums, solvents containing water, moist air) must be prevented not
only during storage, but also when removing material from drums and during
processing. Failure to do so may lead to a dangerous build up of pressure in
tanks and drums due to the generation of carbon dioxide. In addition, polyureas
forming in Urestyl 10 can cause solids to separate out, leading to blockages
in the filters, pumps and pipelines of the processing equipment and resulting
in production problems.

As a protective coating for foundations .

ADVANTAGES
! " Excellent performance and flexible in nature
! " Good adhesion to most surfaces
! " Non toxic therefore suitable for potable water.
! " Resistant to carbon dioxide and chloride ion diffusion. (Forms a film that provide an anti
carbonation coating over concrete. A 1mm coating of Neoseal flex provides anti carbonation cover
which is equivalent to over 80 cm of concrete.)
! " Can resist up to 7 Bars of pressure.
! " Unlike convential coatings which require 7 $ 28 days cure of concrete, Neoseal flex can be applied
to 24 hours old concrete, there by giving immediate protection to the concrete.
