A SPACE FOR THE PEOPLE

In this era where the cities are looking forward to grow its infrastructure
better and bright everyday, huge skyscrapers are growing to tackle the
financial and residential problems of the cities, and among all this hustle
and bustle of the cities the one of the most important constituent factor
that boosts the infrastructure of any city is lost, that’s called social
spaces. A social space can be a event space which can become a heart
of the city for different purposes, a place which attracts the people to
relax and enjoy, a place where people will get a break from their work
and problems And give them some sort of relief.
The event space is a space where different types of activities/events can
be organized for the welfare of the people. The event can be of different
genres/purposes like concerts, marriages, performances, exhibitions,
workshops, health care activity, sports etc. the event space has to be
flexible for any type of activity required from that place conclusively it
should be responsive towards the people.
A famous architect Bernard Tschumi said that “architecture isn’t simply
about space and form, but also about event, action and what happens
in space” which means that a structure should be self-sustainable, by
maintaining all the possible aspects which is required to run a particular
public place. It can have some cafeterias, co-working spaces, shops,
auditoriums, screening rooms, clubs, gardens, relaxation spaces, or any
other recreational activity/space that can match with the purpose of the
place. It should have welcoming vibe for all the people of different age
groups. This space should have something for everyone to maximize its
utilization.
