The theme of this story is about a women.Her

name is Malar.She is a 25 years old women and she
is not married .She also not a beautiful and a good
look of women.At the same time she’s trying her best
to get a better husband than her.Even she is
dropped of the school after standart 6 but she is very
high expectation and looking for a good educated
husband.This story show us about how women
struggled to find a good husband.

The negihbourhood is a place that
had houses on each side and a
single storeyed wooden house.
Mutu occupied a room 1
ambalavaanar's house.
He is renting the back room in
Ambalavanar 's house.
MARIAH
This story took place in a small
village town called Molo.
Puteh to kota Bahru.
The road was very crowed because
the school children using the road
and the three main school were
situated in the village.
The men of the village always in the
village market in the morning.
 In the end of the story Malar married with Mutu with his
family blessing.The family hope that Mutu will help the
family and they think he can give a money or support to
overcome their money problem and they willing to accept
Mutu’s request and the application finally.

Malar is doing everything her best to hook Mutu
because he is a nice man and a bank manager to.
Malar also not a beautiful and good looking women
but she have to makeup herself to look more
better.
After the marriage, the Malar’s family came to
know that Mutu is not a bank manager but he is
a peon in a bank.Malar family felt very shocked
and disappointment to hear that.They realy
expected he is a bank manager.

wife permission to marry Mariah.His wife love him very much

All the women in her village were very angry of
Mariah because she had mesmerize all the men
and they have fall for the Mariah nasi belauk,until
they abondan their home and wives for Mariah’s
Kedai Merpati.
In the end Cik Yam his wife had given her
permission to marry Mariah because she is a loving
wife

Molo.Mariah is a hardworking woman and
a widower.Mariah was very beautiful and
had mesmerized all the men in her Mariah also agree to marry imam because she

 He is around 45 years old and staying
in Molo.
 He is very selfish too because he
asked his wife permission to marry
Mariah that only reason she,s look
alike his old lover.

Interjections are words that show feeling or sudden emotion.

 When the feeling is strong, it is followed by an exclamation point. Ouch! You just
ran over my foot.

 Otherwise, separate an interjection from the sentence by following it with a

comma. Wow, spaghetti for dinner again!
Hey!

Interjections can be one or more than one word. Examples of interjections in

sentences are as follows:

Cool! You bought me a new sports car.

Phew, I nearly missed the bus!

Uh, I believe your dog is sitting on my foot.

My goodness, what a large llama!

No way! I'm not giving up my bike.

Notice the punctuation after each conjunction.

Understand the main character. Analyzing the main character is an important

part of discovering the theme. List the physical and intangible attributes of the
main character. Decide if the reader is supposed to identify with the main
character or if she is someone the reader doesn't (or shouldn't) want to be.

Identify the conflict. The conflict in a short story always involves the main
character. The conflict can be between the main character and another, society
or some force of nature, or within the main character himself. Figure out
specifically who or what the main character is struggling against in the short
story.

Know how the conflict is resolved. The resolution of the conflict can give the
reader a big clue as to the theme of a short story. Who wins the conflict is the
writer's way of telling the reader which force was better. If an evil main character,
one you wouldn't admire, wins out over some force of nature, the theme will have
a negative slant.

Make a generalization. Look at the main character, her conflict and how it was
resolved to determine the theme of the story. Start by understanding what the
main character learned in the short story. Then, generalize that lesson to apply to
everyone. If the main character learned not to trust her friend who just won the
lottery, the theme of the short story may be that money changes people
