Fitriani is a second semester student in the English Education department at IAIN Langsa. She chose this major because of her passion for English and her interest in teaching children. During her first year, she participated in an orientation camp that increased her motivation to become a teacher. She has found some lecturers to be motivating in their teaching styles, such as with pronunciation drills. Prior to her degree, she gained teaching experience at Darul Huda Islamic School for one year.

I spent my education life in Darul Huda Islamic School since I was in a
Junior High school until Senior High school. Afterwards I started to continued my Education in IAIN Langsa. I decided to choosed English Education department as a major. I took it because of my passioned in English and want to learnt it more intensify in order to developing my academic skills. In other hands I also interested in teaching children and I believe that this is a appropriate couse for me. During my fist year in the university, I have spent ten days to joined in the language matriculation and campuss orientation. This has increased my motivation for being a teacher and transformed myself into confidently person. Now in my second semester, I have followed the lessons from a lecturers. I found some lecturer who motivated me by their style of teaching. One of wich is pronounciation drill. It makes me feels naturally loves English and produced my teaching mentality. I also have learnt from many books about English for gain myself in it and hope that my teaching ability will increase while my education journey. Prior to my degree, I gained some teaching experience in Darul Huda Islamic School. I have been a teacher in there for a year. Automatically, I am able to controlled a classroom situation, knowing a student characteristic and difference teaching methods. I believe in the future I will be a professional English teacher and being sensitive with a student problem issues. However, I make this as my first step to pursuing my other goals in life and hope it will come true.
