THE BIG PICTURE

When my father used to work far away from home there is only one
thing which made the distance between us disappear: the IDEA
network.
Amid handling all the work, my mother used to pack me lunch wrapped
with extra care and love as the saying goes
“Food cooked with love deserves much more than the ordinary wrap”.
In this way, FRESHWRAP came into my life.
Being a part of small town, we need to go to nearby city to buy clothes,
but things changed quickly as PETER ENGLAND was opened in my
hometown and providing better quality clothes with reasonable prices.
As the future is always unpredictable it is better to be stay planned,
considering which my dad had a SUN LIFE INSURANCE PLAN.
Keeping all the pieces together we get the bigger picture
“ADITYA BIRLA GROUP”.
Aditya Birla Group has touched everyone’s life in one way or other. It is
an Indian multinational conglomerate India. It operates in 35 countries
with more than 120,000 employees worldwide.

Devil’s luck
My interview date for new IIM’s was on Feb 12th. I started
preparing for the interviews. But on Feb 10th I fell sick and I
was in no position to travel to Bangalore for the interview. I
sent a mail to Administrative office that I couldn’t attend the
interview on Feb 12th so if possible, change my interview date
but the response was negative. I went to Bengaluru on Feb 16th
requesting them to conduct my interview, but they said it’s not
possible even if they conduct the interview it won’t be taken
into consideration. I was so upset I called my dad told I’m
sorry I couldn’t make it. My dad told don’t worry will find a
way out. As my dad suggested I went and met one of his
friends in Bengaluru. I explained him about the situation. He
assured me we did nothing wrong so everything will be
alright. If I need to attend the interview, I need to get the
permission from the admission office Ranchi, but I got my
IIM K interview on Feb 18th so I can’t travel to Ranchi get
permission and attend the interview. So, we decided to call
every one of our friends near Ranchi and see if we can get any
help. Luckily uncle’s friend relative is an IAS officer in Calcutta
who was an IIM alumnus. He responded quickly and sent
someone to Ranchi to speak with Administrative Office and
then they allowed me to take the interview once I submitted
my medical certificate.
I wasn’t sure whether the interview in for the name sake or is it
considered. But then I got admission letter from IIM Ranchi
and I’m not sure what to say other than devil’s luck. The main
thing I learned from my story is that NETWORKING is an
important asset in once life.
