Aguilar is a landlocked municipality in the coastal province of Pangasinan.

The municipality has a land area of 195.07 square kilometers or 75.32 square miles which
constitutes 3.58% of Pangasinan's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020
Census was 45,100. This represented 1.43% of the total population of Pangasinan province,
or 0.85% of the overall population of the Ilocos Region. Based on these figures, the
population density is computed at 231 inhabitants per square kilometer or 599 inhabitants
per square mile.

Location
The municipal center of Aguilar is situated at approximately 15° 53' North, 120° 14' East, in
the island of Luzon. Elevation at these coordinates is estimated at 15.6 meters or 51.3 feet
above mean sea level.
