SYSTEM OF
RESEARCH
2.1 METHODOLOGY

In order to stipulate all the data and information concerning in this research
study, there are some procedures and steps of data gathering was made to provide
support and also to have all the necessary parts of this study. All the data and
information were gathered organized with the use of the following techniques:

I. IDEA

A. DATA GATHERING

• Through library books, some old data that still exist were gathered.
• Information from the internet is also used to give up-to-date data and more
relevant details to attain better understanding.
• Online Survey, to collect opinions of the residents in the Municipality of
Orion.
• Data also gathered by observation on other relative projects.
• Study includes data from different government agencies.

II. INFORMATION

DEMOGRAPHIC DATAS
The municipality spans 65.41 square kilometers, or 25.25 square miles, or 4.76
percent of Bataan's total land area. There were 60,771 residents there as of the 2020
Census. This represented 7.12 percent of Bataan province's overall population, or 0.49
percent of Central Luzon's population. With these figures, the population density—which
equals 929 persons per square kilometer or 2,407 per square mile is calculated.

Historical population

Over the span of 117 years, Orion's population increased by 53,584 from 7,187 in 1903
to 60,771 in 2020. From the previous population of 56,002 in 2015, the most recent
census results in 2020 show a positive growth rate of 1.74 percent, or an increase of
4,769 persons.

Population by age group

those under the age of 14 make up a total of 30.09 percent (16,850), of the young
dependent population, which includes infants, children, and young
adolescents/teenagers . Those aged 15 up to 64 make up a total of 64.94% (36,366)
roughly, the economically active population and actual or potential members of the work
force, constitute. Seniors, those 65 and older, who make up the elderly dependent
population, make up a total of 4.97 percent (2,786).

III. ANALYSIS

All the data collected through data gathering procedures are all sorted in
order to understand the problems better and to improve the solution to the
proposal. It helps to clean and transform all the data into a consistent form so it
can be effectively studied.

IV. SYNTHESIS

The information that has been gathered can be combined to study and
produce a structure in approach to the Redevelopment of the Old Municipal hall.

V. EVALUATION
The information and data given are all true and accurate, it was gathered
from different sources through surveys, internet and books, therefore the
researcher conclude that the old/existing municipal hall needs to be
relocated and redevelop, it is a way to make that government facility
convenient.

VI. OPTIMIZATION

Overall, this can be used to accomplish what the project is needed it can
justify the planning and the design of the project.
