DRONE FLIGHT CHECKLIST

PRE FLIGH T:
Make sure you are not flying in a no-fly zone

Weather: Wind less than 10mph. Precipitation less than 10%

Check props for cracks, chips and signs of stress

Propellers are tight and secure

Tablet/screen is fully charged

Monitor’s brightness & volume set to high

Monitor’s Wifi and Bluetooth are off

Remove camera gimbal lock/lens cover

Clean your camera’s lens

Battery is fully charged & secured

Reformat SD card to clear off any old images

Verify photo/video settings (file type, resolution, FPS)

CHECK VALUE S:
Max height set to 400 feet

Calibrate the compass (mod value between 1400-1700)

Wait for a GPS lock

Confirm Home Point in an area free of trees, poles & buildings

TAKE OFF:
Area is clear of people & obstacles

Hit record before takeoff

Hover at 10 feet for 20 seconds and check stability
