Experiment No. - 01

The Audio Panpot circuit shown in figure below is used to


continuously vary the position of signal V1 between the left and the
right stereo channels. Specify R1 and R2 so that VL/V1= -1V/V, when
the wiper is fully down, VR/V1= -1V/V when the wiper is fully up, and
VL/V1=VR/V1=-1/√2 when the wiper is halfway.

AIM : To design the given circuit using ORCAD and finding the
resistance R1 & R2 for the above mentioned conditions.

APPARATUS USED :
1) Alternative Voltage Source.

2) Resistor.

3) OP-AMP (uA741).
4) ground.

5) DC Voltage sources.

6) wires.

7) ORCAD software.

RESULT/ INFERENCE :

The connections were performed on ORCAD capture CIS and their


outputs were verified same as what told in theoretical calculations. The
expected practical value of the resistors R1 and R2 were verified with
the theoretical value.
