The meeting of the Council of Leaders of Anthropology Museums (CLAM) was called to order on August 1, 2019. Representatives from 16 museums were present and introduced themselves. Officers for CLAM were then elected, with Diadem Gonzales Esmero being elected President, Joy Cruz as Vice President, Lia Pangilinan as Secretary, Rhoda Salazar as Treasurer, and Karen Carrera and Bettina Arriola assuming other roles. Issues like what museums do, problems with tour operators, and museum fees were then discussed. The next meeting was scheduled for October 25, 2019 to revisit bylaws, have knowledge sharing, and discuss the CLAM logo.
