New video game titles will always come out every year. Each new title has its own franchise and
made by well-known developers. So new titles mean more interest for a player to try out with it. Every title
also has its own aspects such as gameplay mechanics, story or lore, visual, and most importantly bugs and
glitches. Therefore, a game review exists. So how to review a game?
Play the game you want play at least 5-8 hours.
This is the most important thing you have to do when reviewing a game. Playing a game for like a
minute is like eating a breakfast for only 2 spoons because you will miss some points of aspect you may
want to review it. The longer you play the more you will notice or found every point of aspect while in-
game.
The gameplay mechanic
Gameplay mechanic is like a rule that how a player should do or shouldn’t. Some features like skill
system, role system, or stat improvement system are regarded as an elaboration of gameplay mechanics.
However, this may be difficult to notice or find the point where that should match the player’s desire. If
you find the point where it lacks the gameplay mechanics it’s the point you might want to include with.
