The comparative and the superlative
Employees, as we know, have to describe people, in this case they are very important and
help us to excel someone whose attributes seem better than others or someone else.
Adjectives are those words we use to modify or accompany the noun. In general, they are
used to describe, complement or quantify the name in the sentence.
The comparative is used in English to compare differences between the two objects that it
modifies (larger, smaller, faster, higher). It is used in sentences where we compare two
names.
The superlative is used to describe an object that is at the top or bottom of a quality (the
tallest, the smallest, the fastest, the highest). It is used in sentences in which we compare a
subject with a group of objects. Therefore, we use the superlative when we want to
emphasize that the subject is at the upper or lower end of a quality.
Learning the use of comparatives and superlatives in English, is the most basic to get fully
involved with the language. That is the reason why they are considered so important at the
time of learning. With them you can talk, read and listen in a better way.
