Auction holder, Sri Brajakishor Kar is a private individual of At- Purusottampur,

Tahasil-Jajpur, Dist.–Jajpur, State-Odisha. The Malaandapur (Budha Nadi bed)
sand Quarry is the sairat sources coming under revenue department to perform
auction procedure for quarry lease and to award the highest bidder.

Sri Brajakishor Kar is awarded Malaandapur (Budha Nadi bed) Sand Quarry,
having an area over 12.50Ac. (5.06Ha.), Kisam-Nadi with Minor Mineral Lease
Letter No. 1901 dated 07.04.05 of Malaandapur(Budha Nadi bed) Sand bed,
Mouza- Malaandapur, Plot No. 31 for a period of 5-Years (2015-16 to 2019-20).

As per MoEF notification dated 24th December, 2013 and the MCDR-1988 Mining
Plan has been prepared by RQP Shri Chadrabhanu Das, Regd. No. RQP/BBS/
052/2004/A. The method of mining proposed is open-cast mining with manual
means with bench wise development i.e. top slicing. There is no forest land within
the quarry lease and in the vicinity of mine workings.

The total minable reserve estimated to be 42,818Cu.m. and is planned to

produce in average 6,378Cu.m. per annum by open-cast mining. As per MoEF
Guidelines vide No. J-10012/2013-IA-II (I), dated 24th December 2013, this project
is coming under B2 Category where both Pre-feasibility Report and approved
Mining Plan are required for Environment Clearance w.r.t. Minor Minerals of
Malaandapur(Budha Nadi bed) Sand Quarry, Tahsil-Jajpur Dist. - Jajpur of
Odisha.
