- CAD: SOLIDWORKS – LYNDA
- Tool Design book
- Engineering design process/ engineering drawing
- Machine design
- Fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
- Metallurgy
- Try to learn about standards used in the industry, like ASME, ASTM, ISO etc.

- Knowledge of the basic subject areas. In this case, they would check the
fundamentals of mechanical engineering. You have to refresh them.
