Pengenalan
• Lukisan Terbantu Komputer atau
Computer Aided Drafting/Design (CAD)
merupakan satu perisian komputer yang
digunakan bagi membantu menyelesaikan
masalah kejuruteraan yang berkaitan
dengan aspek seperti lukisan mekanikal,
lukisan elektrikal, lukisan kejuruteraan
awam dan seni bina.
• Namun demikian, penggunaannya tidaklah terhad kepada
bidang yang tersebut sahaja, ia juga digunakan dengan meluas
dalam bidang-bidang lain seperti reka bentuk fesyen,
topografi, reka bentuk industri dan lain-lain. Sistem ini mampu
menghasilkan lukisan yang berkualiti, tepat dan menjimatkan
kos. Dalam topik ini, anda akan diperkenalkan dengan konsep
asas perisian AutoCAD dan juga perintah asas dalam perisian
AutoCAD. Perkembangan sistem CAD menyumbang kepada
pembangunan pesat dalam bidang kejuruteraan dan reka
bentuk.
Paper Sizes
- The ISO (BS ISO 216:2007 )
most recommended paper sizes
ISO A series drawing sheet sizes for technical drawings are known
as A-FORMATS.. In the A-Format
series, the largest size is A0.

-The size of an A1 paper is half


the size of A0 while A2 is half the
size of A1 and so forth.
For technical drawings A4 is
considered to be the smallest
paper size.
Paper Size Selection
• The choice of drawing sheet size should be
decided after taking into account the
following points:
– the volume and complexity of the design;
– the requirements of handling and filing;
– the level of knowledge of the user;
– the environment of use;
– the requirements of computer aided design
(CAD);
– the limitations of reduced-size reproductions.
