Dual System

Dasra is a Dual System of non-profit organization, because the transaction carried out by Dasra is
limited not only to the commercial implications, but have the far reaching consequences for its
beneficiaries.
Dasra organization is a dual system because they advise funders and donors to invest strategically in
order to create social change. Their partners and main entities involved in funding are BMW Foundation,
Tata Trust, Azim Premji Foundation etc. These organizations give their contributions and solicitations.
Dasra is the entity which is thus involved in interventions. Dasra, through funds received from partner
organizations provides support to NGOs which are the service provisioning agents in the system. These
NGOs work for the betterment of their clients who are the stakeholders and the beneficiaries of change
in this case.
