RESOLUTION No. 2013 – 98

A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MR. FELIX B. CORTEZ FOR HAVING BROUGHT HONOR,

PRESTIGE AND DISTINCTION TO THE CITY OF ILAGAN AS WELL AS TO BARANGAY
__________________ BY WINNING THE GOLD MEDAL IN TAEKWONDO IN THE RECENTLY
CONCLUDED BATANG PINOY GAMES IN STA. CRUZ, LAGUNA WHEREAS, Mr. Felix B. Cortez is
a resident of Barangay ___________, City of Ilagan, Isabela won a Gold Medal in Taekwondo event
during the recently concluded Batang Pinoy Games held in Sta. Cruz, Laguna; WHERAS, this
accomplishment of Mr. Felix B. Cortez has earned for himself the respect and admiration of the
National Sports Commission, and for Barangay _____________, City of Ilagan, Isabela, a place of
distinct honor, prestige and glory; WHEREAS, as the winner of a Gold medal, Mr. Felix B. Cortez, has
promoted not only the importance of Sports development but also enhanced the image of Barangay
_______________, as well as the municipality of City of Ilagan as a place where sports are well
promoted and enhanced for the future of the youths; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED, by the
Sangguniang Barangay of ________________, City of Ilagan, Isabela, to give a Plaque of
Commendation to Mr. Felix B. Cortez for having won a Gold Medal in the recently concluded Batang
Pinoy Games, an accomplishment which has brought honor, prestige and distinction not only to his
barangay but as well as the municipality of City of Ilagan, Isabela. RESOLVED further, that the
Sangguniang Barangay of ____________, headed by Punong Barangay ________________, furnish
copy of this Resolution and to award the Plaque of Commendation to Mr. Felix B. Cortez for his
marvelous accomplishment. ADOPTED unanimously, this 29th day of February 2013 at City of
