1.Batanes
 DANCE
Palo-Palo - Two groups of male dancers in distinctly differently colored costumes
and holding in each hand a fighting stick, standing in two files. They dance to a
series of band music with varying beats, using thin sticks to the rhythm to simulate
a fight. It is part of a celebration in honor of a patron saint of each town or village.

Kulay Festival - For Ivatans, “Kulay” is a native term which means “anything dried”
that may imply dried products such as onion, garlic, rice, corn and fish among
others, proudly manufactured within their locality.

 MUSIC
Laji - is the oldest traditional music of the Ivatans in the islands of Batanes. The
laji are ancient lyrical songs that are supposed to be sung when they are merry or
just finished work.
Kalusan - is a working song sung by Ivatans as they work in the fields, row or cut
timber. This song is usually started by a song leader (vachi) followed by workers
who would sing the rest of the song.

2.Cagayan
 DANCE
La Jota Cagayana - The dance is from the town of Enrile, Cagayan. COSTUME.
Girl wears maskota skirt, and camisa with stiff panuelo or Maria Clara costume.
Boy wears barong tagalog and black or dark colored trousers.
Sambali festival - originated from the Sambali dance which is a war dance of the
Itawis tribe of Cagayan that was converted to Christianity through the intercession
of the Lady of Piat. It was revived in 1989 with the belief that it would promote the
identity of the people of Piat, as well as strengthen unity and harmony among its
people. Since then, it has been an annual event for the residents of Piat.

 MUSIC
THE SALOMON: IBANAG FOLK SONG - It is narrative on the conception, birth
and life of the Baby Christ, filled with episodes that teach Cagayano children
Ibanag virtues of truthfulness, honesty, loyalty, industry and devotion.

3.Isabela
 DANCE
Bambanti Festival - is the official festival of the Province of Isabela. Held annually
in the month of January, the award-winning festival has become a key factor in
helping to build a cultural identity for the residences of Isabela.

 MUSIC
The growth of Ibanag songs and singers reached its peak when the haranaor
serenade in rustic communities was both a form of nocturnal recreation among the
"babbagitolay" and a way of starting courtship for a "magingnganay."

4.Nueva Vizcaya
 DANCE
Ammungan - is a Gaddang word which means “gathering,” while its Ilocano
counterpart is “ummungan” which also has the same meaning and is widely
understood among the ethno-linguistic groups.
