II.Cách sử dụng thì HTĐ và thì HTTD
HTĐ
a. Dieñ tả mo ̣t thói quen, mo ̣t
hành đo ̣ng xảy ra thường xuyen
lă ̣p đi lă ̣p la ̣i ở hieṇ ta ̣i.
Ex:
- He watches TV everry night.
- What do you do every day?
- I go to school by bicycle.
b. Dieñ tả mo ̣t chân lý, mo ̣t sự
thâ ̣t hiẻn nhien.
Ex:
- The sun rises in the East.
- Tom comes from England.
- Iam a student.
c. Dieñ tả mo ̣t lich ̣ triǹ h có sẵn,
thời khoá biẻu, chương trình.
Ex: The plane leaves for London
at 12.30pm

S + am/is/are + not + V-ing
Ex: The children are not playing
Am/Is/Are + S + V-ing?
Ex: Are the children playing

Ex:

b. Dùng theo câu đè nghi,̣ me ̣nh lenh. ̣
Ex:
- Look! The child is crying.
- Be quiet! The baby is sleeping in
the next room.
Lưu ý: Khong dùng thì hie ̣n tại tiép
diẽn với các đọng từ chỉ nhận thức, tri
giác như: to be, see, hear,
understand, know, like, want,
glance, feel, think, smell, love, hate,
…
Với các đo ̣ng từ này, ta thay bằ ng thì
HTĐ.
Ex:
- Iam tired room.
- She wants to go for a walk at the
moment.
