Education
Current number of girls studying in the four Pardada Pardadi Schools: 1606
Current number of girls studying in PPES Early Childhood Learning Centre, Madargate village: 30
Number of girls drop out during the quarter: 0.44%
Attendance rate during the quarter: 79%
100% in class 10th and 12th Board exam 2019.
Total number of outreached villages under Education Program: 72
Highlights of Education Vertical
The first Batch of Pardada Pardadi NTTF Center: In the first batch, 13 girls completed the CPCA
(Certificate Program in Computer Applications) program in June.
Construction of a new school block with five Smart IT-enabled classrooms is underway. The new
block will have five SMART labs (Three Science labs, one English curriculum lab and one Maths
lab)
Construction of PPES E-Learning resource Center in Delhi office has been completed, and setting
up of the center is underway. It will offer virtual classes of English and Mathematics six days a
week for class 6th to 9th.

Higher Education (Professional Courses)

2. PROGRESS OF PPES GRADUATES IN 2019
48 girls graduated from PPES in 2019 and all are going for various professional as well as general
college degrees. This year one girl from the 2018 batch, and three girls from our Sister school BSP
Jattari also joined higher education program. Details are given in the table below:

Out of the 94 girls, seven girls started working in 2019. Out of the seven girls, two girls joined Dr.
Reddy’s Lab, Himachal Pradesh as Lab Assistant and five girls joined different IT companies in
Bangalore as Support Engineer.

Community Development

B COMMUNITY HEALTH EDUCATION INITIATIVE


First phase of CHEI (Community Health &Hygiene Initiative) was successfully completed in
targeted 20 villages.
In first phase SHG members and community women were trained on four health topics i.e.
Diarrhea, Wound Care, CPR and Hygiene and Sanitation.
Second phase of CHEI was launched in April, 2019. Under the second phase, training is
provided on Fever and Asthma care to SHG members and community women.
Health &Hygiene
Soap Dispensers: 12 soap dispensers are installed in school toilets and hand washing areas.
Regular health work with and training of PPES girls.

Economic Empowerment
Number Of women employed in iVillage production center-80
At present, two production unit is working in Anupshahr, Blackberry Suit Cover Production Unit
and Textile Unit.

Human Resource: Drafting of HR Policy is completed. Only the translation to Hindi is left.
Volunteer: During the quarter 9 volunteers from different parts of the World volunteered with
us.

Important Events & Activities


In April 2019 eleven 12th grade students of Mount Madonna School, California, visited Pardada
Pardadi School as part of their MAITRI PROJECT to India.
In May, 2019, a career guidance session was conducted by IL&FS Institute of Skills, New Delhi for
class 12th girls.
In May 2019, 35 PPES girls from class 6th to class 11th went for a summer youth camp to Sri
Aurobindo Ashram, Nainital.
On 5th June Environment day is celebrated at PPES School. To mark the day PPES girls planted
saplings of various kinds.
On 22nd June International Yoga Day was observed. Almost 800 girls participated, and performed
various Asanas and Kriyas. (different yoga postures)
During this quarter NCC (National Cadet Corps) was introduced in the school. 25 girls are selected
as NCC cadets.
The young NCC cadets participated in two important rallies in June. The rallies aimed to raise
awareness on Air Pollution and on the ill effects of Alcohol Abuse.
