E-counseling initiative for staff members.

We refer to letter No. HO/HRDD/SP/707 dated 28/10/2010 on the above captioned


subject. We would like to share that our initiative on E-Counseling launched in November
2010 got immense response at all levels. Recently, an analysis was carried out about this
welfare service. It was observed that since launch of this service percentage of usage has
considerably increased but more publicity and understanding is required to access full
potential of this service.

2. In view of above, we are reiterating important points of this E-counseling service.

Preface:

Everyone in this world requires some sort of counseling at various stages of life. It can be
related to workplace, stress, personal, relationship, family & home, health & lifestyle etc. We
share our problems with our family, friends, and close relatives but at the same time there
can be some very personal problems which we never want to share or talk about. We fail to
get answers or solutions to such problems mainly due to lack of any convenient and
confidential platform to raise these questions. Sometimes, we are also victims of having
amateur suggestion from others.

E-Counseling for our staff members:

E-counseling refers to counseling provided on the internet. A 3 tier panel of experts will
provide counseling solution to the Employees query over e-mail. We have engaged a
company named „Circle2corner.com‟ which will provide counseling services through their
professional panelist. The process is anonymous and personalized and is available 24 x 7 x
365 at a click of a mouse.

As of now, the following aspects are being covered under this counseling service.

This service is available to all our regular employees having bank‟s e-mail ID. The service
can be accessed through STARDESK under Main Head-Change Management and
subhead-Circle2corner. The entire process is web based and employees are free to ask
questions on their issues. The full procedure with snapshots is annexed with this circular.

3. It is requested to bring the contents of this memorandum to the notice of all the staff
members so that they can avail this facility. We are again enclosing some posters
pertaining to this service for publicity in your Zone/Branch/Office.

Steps to be followed by Employees

1. Employees can access this service either by visiting STARDESK.

2. Click on the link provided to access the service.

3. Choose the main category & click on the desired sub category.

4. Question Box will appear. Write your question in the box.

5. Enter your details:

i. Your personal email-ID of Bank. (youremailid@bankofindia.co.in)

ii. Your Age and Gender

iii. Experience

iv. Zone (It doesn‟t mean your Zone. It indicates in which part of the country you are
located i.e. North, South, East or West)

v. Fill verification code & click on I agree with terms & conditions.

vi. Click “Ask now” button to submit your question.

vii. The answer would be sent to your email id within 24 hours.
