As a young person, it has always been a joy to work in an environment that accelerates the progress and
growth of young people. Over the years, I have voluntarily offered my time and energy to the development of
fellow young people through media skills. Specifically, Photography, Videography, Graphic design, and editing
skills. Undertaking this, I can proudly say that I have learned a lot and still learning.
I believe that young people are brave and have the power to do anything if given the opportunity. Therefore, I
am always motivated to share my skills especially with youth to help build a community where young people
play the lead roles for a change.
Furthermore, I hold integrity as a core value, and my practical communication skills enhance my ability to
listen and learn from others. These have helped me build effective and positive relationships throughout my
professional journey.
To conclude, I believe my willingness to serve, share knowledge, and learn from others, my consciousness of

During my college days, I used to serve as Public Relation Officer and Program Coordinator for youth-led
organization called ‘Let Inspire’. We were involved in advocacy and organizing seminars for young people.
Our main objective was to build a network between experienced and successful people from different
professions and our fellow youth. The seminars were arranged to let these experienced people share their
knowledge and career journey to help motivate and inspire young people to never give up on their dreams.
And the vision was to let youth lead the change.
Before I took office for the said positions, we had set up about three seminars which went unsuccessful.
The attendance we had was way below what we planned for. The last seminar before I took office was
attended by only seven people, which was very discouraging to the whole team and as well led to my
appointment. When I took office, I set up a membership system and online platforms (like WhatsApp
groups) where every member was added to get easy access to information and easily get answers to
inquiries. Since what we were doing was voluntary, we had challenges with human capacity as we were
very few. However, as the Public Relations Officer and Project manager, I was flexible enough to help
support the daily running of the organization, manage our online platforms, register new members, and
market our visions to get new ones as well. Also, with my practical communication skills, I established an
effective and positive relationship with our members by actively responding to their inquiries and our
partners who were always ready to offer their time to help us achieve our goals. The first seminar arranged
by me saw forty (40) attendants and was the most successful compared to the previous ones before me.
The second one which was done online due to the Covid-19 pandemic was attended by seventy-five people
in total after five different Zoom sessions.
Secondly, as a person who studied IT, I am fully aware of how fast the world is moving to digitalization. And
that was what led me to choose IT as the first step on my career path. Therefore, with the experience I have
now in technology, it will be very swift for me to get used to any kind of digital environment and as well
handle or manage digital platforms like Facebook groups and more. Also, I have experience in creating and
coordinating virtual events and I trust this makes me the best fit for this position.
I keep attention to detail and my critical thinking skills give me the ability to think outside the box and use a
creative approach to problem-solving. My experience in data collection backed up by my organizational
skills gives me the ability to measure up to tasks accurately.
As one of the main goals of Restless Development is to safeguard the welfare and protection of people and
their communities, it will be a dream come true for someone like me whose aspirations are aligned with the
organization's objectives. And with my experience in working with young people especially in
disadvantaged communities, serving in the advertised role will bring a lot of motivation and fulfilment which
will boost my input and dedication to helping the organization achieve its drive for change.
