guidance of management helped me to complete the internship along with this I am also
thankful to my peers whose coordination and collaboration have helped me in completing my
internship successfully.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

An E- Education provider is a platform that is now a day’s very trending and in demand too, they all
are doing great in this tough time of COVID-19. What an E-Education provider do is that they hire
good teachers and adapt a unique way of teaching.
TCY stepped into the world of online education in the year 2008 with a dream to help every learner

one of us continues to be restless, aspiring to help students in every possible way to achieve their

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION OF THE PROJECT UNDERTAKEN

The objective of the project was to:

 Promoted products offered by TCY Online to different Coaching Institutes all


over State of Haryana.
 Organized Client detail like name of person with name of Institute, Phone no.
of client and Date on which we speak.
 Raised Sales for the Company.
 Follow-up for resolving client query daily basis. 

Scope of the Work: -

 Promoting and branding business through telephonic conversation 


 Targeting clients who could provide the base to the institution
 Outspread business in different cities.

Role and Profile: -

As a Sales intern, we were needed to focus on Communication, show the confidence to make
connections, humility to say thank you and pride to finish your work strong. Sales
Interns conduct research, make calls and send emails, update records, attend meetings, and help
maintain client relationships, among other tasks

 Study on Customer: -

The Indian Classroom Coaching Industry is expected to grow exponentially in the future due to increase in
income of people, the percentage of their spending on education and increased awareness. Moreover, the
growing demand for engineering and medical as a career has increased the number of students opting for
entrance test preparation classes. Increased proportion of working parents is another factor which has
motivated the students to take up supplementary coaching classes as parents can’t help and assist the school
going students along with their own professional work.

 Product/ Service offer by TCY Online:-

The Coaching center provides different educational services for their customer with use of
modern technology to make it easy to understand with affordable prices. The product include:

 MAT
 GATE
 JEE-NEET
 JEE
 MBA ENTRANCE
 UG ENTANCE
Private Tuition Industry involves students from grade 5 to grade 12, who supplement their formal
education along with coaching classes for various subjects. Entrance test Preparation Industry on the
other hand involves coaching for various entrance examinations like IITJEE, AIEEE, AIPMT and
CA exam levels. This preparation is very process driven and involves engaging students with proper
study materials. This industry witnesses fierce competitions with various established market players
operating and competing with differentiated strategies. This industry is expected to grow further due
to increasing competition for various competitive exams.

Position, Roles and Responsibilities

Position – Sales Executive Intern

Roles and Responsibilities – As a Sales intern I was responsible for conducting meetings, solving
queries of clients, taking daily reports and communicating work done by employees to Manger Mr.
Sanjay Kumar. I was responsible for smooth working and communication between clients and
Company. I personally communicate with the team members whether everybody was on track. If I
found that any customer are not understanding work or product. Than training sessions were
arranged where Manager interacts with Client and solves their queries. Apart from Sales activities I
was also responsible for marketing and generating lead. As a marketer our primary task was to create
a list of Coaching Institute which can be our potential client. After that our task was submit that
report to HR and then focuses on communicating our services to clients through cold calling,
mailing, LinkedIn or by contacting them on WhatsApp.
Challenges Faced
 Communication – First challenge which I faced was difficulty in contacting the customer.
As the internship was in work from home mode, every time we try to contact the customer
either they are not responding to calls or the number is not reachable. If we try to contact
them on WhatsApp messages were delivered instantly but clients are not responding.
 Overlapping of Work – As we are searching for lead online and every intern is doing the
same thing. After some of the daily reports we find out that companies searched and
contacted are same for some of the interns which lead to overlapping of work.
 Less Relevant Information – As the interns are responsible for searching companies from
internet and find the necessary details of companies and have a brief background check of
company. For most of the companies there is no relevant information and even the mail id
and contact numbers were either not working or they are fake. Because of this if we are trying
to contact 10 companies only 3 or 4 are responding.
 Work Life Balance – Every intern including me at some point of time is facing work life
balance issue. It was a perception that at this point there is lockdown in the nation and
everybody at home is free. But the scenario was different some of the interns have network
issues because of remote locations some are struck in hostels and they are trying their level
best to arrange facilities and reach their home as soon as possible. Some interns are pursuing
some online courses and two or more than two internship at a time. Because of this in initial
phase these are some of the challenges faced by every intern.
No Response from the leads – Another major challenge faced during the internship was that when we
are trying to contact leads either they are not responding to calls, messages or mails and if they are
picking up the call they are not ready to listen what exactly we are trying to explain as every business
man was tensed because of the pandemic.

Challenges Tackled

 Overlapping of work was in beginning stage. Be that as it may, later on it was tended to by us
we classifications and characterize different parts to various understudies. We propose them
to look through geographic savvy which lead to diminish in covering.

 For removing more pertinent data from web assistants were guided and proposed to gather
data from various sites like Just dial, Ask.com and so on. On this kind of sites providers and
purchasers give legitimate number and sends.

 With the time passing everything settled and we make a propensity for working for extended
periods. I plan my activities appropriately and that how I make work life balance. For
different understudies some unwinding is given and we begin gathering investigates
substitute days.

 As the greater part of the assistants are working unexpectedly and everyone is demotivated in
light of the fact that they are not getting reactions from the leads. So a meeting was directed
with Manager and he attempt to persuade everybody. He clarified that first we need to make
mindfulness about us which we are doing via mailing then we ought not lose expectation and
continue attempting whatever the outcome is. Later on we begin getting reactions after
certain endeavors.
Learning Outcome

 Importance of Interpersonal correspondence – Interpersonal correspondence implies how


you extraordinary and how successful you are in interfacing with individuals and ready to
pass on your contemplations. It assumes a significant part in representative fulfillment,
inspiration, cooperation and business achievement. During this pandemic online discussion
make an enormous part of representative relational correspondence. Great Interpersonal
abilities help a person in critical thinking. It helps in building trust and representative
commitment. Absence of relational aptitudes can prompt miscommunication and strife in an
association.

 Learn more than hypothetical information – During the hour of entry level position I
understood that hypothetical information is as significant as pragmatic information.
Hypothetical information is something which make a base for a person. In the event that an
individual is clear with the hypothetical viewpoints the person can apply that, all things
considered, and the outcomes are very obvious.

 Apply the hypothetical information in Practical world-Theoretical information is as


significant as of viable information. For instance we have a hypothetical information on
Training need evaluation yet while working with an association we come to think about the
genuine significance of preparing in an association.

 Learn how to advance and direct examination before moving toward any association -
Approaching any association for business with no earlier exploration is an absurd advance.
Before moving toward any association for pitching administrations or items it is essential to
run a record verification for the organization. Study their site and online media handles
before moving toward any association. Check what organization is offering to their clients
and what their qualities are. In the wake of investigating these perspectives then we should
approach so that our administration or item can build the estimation of their item and
administrations. While talking it tends to be seen that whether you know about the items and
administrations. On the off chance that we don't run a foundation research we won't be
certain while pitching our item and administrations.
 How to change in association and how to keep up work life balance –Initially I for one
face a ton of issue in adapting up to the circumstance. On the off chance that we were
working in office or physical space somebody will consistently be there to control you.
However, during the hour of pandemic everybody is telecommuting so there I face a few
challenges to adjust my own and expert time. However, as we realize that change is the main
thing that is steady in our life, so with the time passing I figured out how to separate my own
and expert time. I dedicate my morning hours to work and in night I go to my online
confirmation classes and do some physical exercise for keeping up physical and mental
wellness.

 How to design your activities – It is significant for a representative to design its activities
before anything turns out badly. In the beginning phase of entry level position I was not
arranging how to make parity. In any case, later on I understood that a legitimate arranging
can assist with settling my concern. Indeed, even before moving toward any money manager
or organization official I attempt to set me up by experiencing the organization profile and
breaking down what sort of administrations and items that organization is offering to its
clients.
Conclusion

The internship with TCY was a good experience but the company should help the interns and their
employees by providing the customer contact details or they can come up with a solution that the
intern and employee of the company can get targeting customer’s data. By this the product pitching
would be easy.
With the end of this internship, there are many thing which we learnt and this was the first
exposure to the corporate world, and this experience gained during this 4 weeks, are the actual
payment of our work, where we have a mentor who always guided us and showed us the right
direction, directly and indirectly he prepared us for the future aspects of corporate world.
During these days we gained experience working as a Sales Intern and while working for the
TCY Online, we gained experience of marketing, public relations, events, and advertising and
also brushed skills like:
Creativity, imagination and an entrepreneurial attitude towards fundraising

 A proactive attitude, drive and enthusiasm to carry out projects to conclusion


 The ability to influence others using excellent communication skills
 The ability to build and maintain relationships
 The ability to meet financial targets
 Good organizational and project management skills
 The ability to motivate others and work as part of a team
