Recruitment to the posts of SCT Sub Inspectors of Police (Civil) (Men & Women),
SCT Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (AR) (Men & Women), SCT Reserve Sub Inspectors of
Police (APSP) (Men) in Pollce Department, Deputy Jailors (Men) & Deputy Jailors (Women)
in Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Station Fire Officers (Men) in A.P. Fire &
Emergency Services Department was notified vide Notification Rc. No.216lR&T/Rect. U2018,
dt: 01-11-2018.

2) The Final Written Test was held on 23-02-2019 &,24-02-20L9 at 4 locations viz.,
Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Guntur and Kurnool. The candidates are advised to download
their data and marks obtained by them in the Final Written Examination from the website
www.slorb.a D.qov.ln from today at 6.00 PM onwards. The details of candidates who
appeared for Final Written Test and qualified gender wise, caste wise, and centre wise are
furnished hereunder:-

3) The preliminary Key for the Papers-III & IV was given on 24-02-2019. The
Objections received from candidates in Preliminary keys issued for the above 2 Papers i'e',
papers-Ill & IV, were looked into by the Subject Experts into and corrections effected in the

4) Candidates may download the scanned oMR sheets for Paper-III and Paper-IV
which will be available in the website www.slorb.ap.gov.in from 21-06-2019 to 23-06-2019
till O5.OO PM. Candidates have the option of request for "Verification" of any or all of the 4
Papers i.e., Paper-I (Descriptive -
English); Paper-Il (Descriptive-Telugu); Paper-III
(objective) and Paper-IV (Objective) by applying online and making payment of Rs. 1,000/-
(Rupees one thousand only) for each paper separately through online and submitting for
"verification" on website www'slprb.ao.gov.in in the following format:

5) This facility will be available from 21-06-2019 to 23-06-2019 till 05.00 PM and the
candidates will be informed the result of "verification" through SMS and e-mail. In case of
any improvement in marks, the fee submitted by such candidate will be refunded by SLPRB,
Andhra Pradesh.

6) The procedure followed by SLPRB, AP for evaluation of descriptive papers

is furnished below for information:-

(i) Each answer script is evaluated by two independent Examiners'

(ii) If difference between these two valuations is less than 10o/o of Maximum Mark, the
average of marks in the two valuations will be considered as final marks'

(iii) However, if difference between hvo valuations is 10o/o or more of Maximum Marks,
' 'the answer script will be evaluated by a third Independent Examiner. The best two
for
out of 3 valuations are selected and average of these is taken as the flnal marks
such answer scriPt.

7) All those candidates who apply for "verification" for descriptive papers I or II are
informed that "Verification" means re-totalling of marks already awarded and rechecking of
average of 2 or 3 valuations, as the case may be. No fresh evaluation of answer script is
undeftaken as it has already been evaluated by 2 Examiners. The candidate will be provided
a copy of marks questlon-wise for all the evaluations through e-mail.

8) Those who apply for Verification for Objective Papers-III & IV are informed that the
OMR Sheet will be scanned once again and mark awarded will be checked as per the
Answer Key already released.

9) Candidates are requested to download Scanned copy of OMR Sheets and verify the
marks awarded. They must mention specific reason for request for "Verification" so that
their grlevance may be looked into.

10) It is reiterated that the candidate should apply request for verification separately for
each paper and not through one common payment combining 2 or more requests. If
combined, only first request will be considered and the other requests will be rejected.

11) Each valid representation received with fee for each paper separately will only be
examined and the decislon of the committee in the matter shall be final. No further
communication or Anonymous/Incomplete representations will be entertained after the last
date.

12) Candidates should also download the Applicant details and verifl7 whether the
information is correct or not. If the data needs any correction (except post preferences and
Unit Preferences), such candidates should send their requests along with relevant
documents through their mail to apslprb.siobj@gmail.com from 20-06-2019 to
25-06-2019. Requests sent to any other e-mail IDs cannot be considered. Similarly, the
mails received after 25-06-2019 cannot be considered under any circumstances and they
will be treated as "summarily rejected".
