Change from Green (G48) to Yellow (VCS) Coolant

Volvo Chassis B7R, B7RLE, B11R

Model
Concern In 2015 Volvo bus had begun to Phase out our Green Coolant known as G48.
This is being replaced by our latest developed Coolant VCS. Due to the benefits
offered by VCS coolant and the New models released into Thailand using VCS
coolant, we believe now is the ideal and necessary time for the transition to the
new coolant on the B7R, B7RLE and B11R models in Thailand.
Description Existing G48 coolant can be changed in any current vehicles to VCS. However
the following instructions must be followed in impact including flushing the system
of all G48.
 26007-3 Coolant System clean
 26011-2 Coolant type replace.
Note:
VCS & G48 are immiscible with any other coolants and should NEVER be mixed
with each other or another coolant!
VCS & G48 The correct concentration for the coolant is 40%. Ready measured
Pre Mix is the preferred part to use.
Following the change to VCS anew label (p/n 20777630) must be fitted to the
Coolant Expansion tank. The label further reduces the chances of any accidental
mixing / cross contamination.
