Tammy Hoppe (Taho)

Autobiographical Statement
No road is too long. No wall is too high. I am an ambitious and willing
artist and educator.

I have been many things for the past twenty-six years.

I have been the mason of my career, meticulously building a structure

of professional knowledge and experience upon which I depend for
strength when I face long roads and high walls.

I have been the cartographer of my goals, diligently mapping steps of

achievement on my path of professional growth.

I have been the designer and author, developing and writing

curriculum and assessment, producing articles and literature reviews,
and creating websites and online content for visual and language arts.

I have been the thespian, speaking and presenting about diverse

visual and language arts topics.

I have been the data keeper, educator, and caregiver of many parents’
precious gifts, for whom I strove to do my job as well as I knew how.

I have been the researcher with an insatiable desire to keep learning.

My notable teachers are the students, friends, and others I have
encountered throughout life who are inspirational in so many ways.

I am ambitious and willing to be many more things that afford me to

be the artist, designer, and teacher I need to be for the people I will
encounter.

I will be many things for the next twenty-six years.

I will be an ambitious and willing artist, designer, and educator. No

wall will be too high. No road will be too long.
