STUDY PLAN

Dear Sir/ Madam,

My full name is Do Huynh Thao Nguyen. I was born on August 12, 2004, in Binh
Thuan, a peaceful place, not so bustling and hustling area. Even though I was born
in an underprivileged family, my parents understand the crucial role of education,
they tried to work hard to invest money for me to go to school. During 12 years of
school, I have never disappointed my parents by ranking on the top position in my
classes because my conception is people can get older along the time, but their
knowledge gets richer which defines the value of a person. That is why I always
want to study and invest time and much more effort into education.

I completed my high school program at Phan Boi Chau High School, one of the
TOP schools in my province. After graduating from high school, I came to realize
that my limited language proficiency was one of the biggest obstacles on my way
toward professional success. In order to keep up with such non-stop advancement,
it is a must for every student to be good at English - the international language.
Being aware of that, I decided to go to the Philippines to study English. With the
effort and serious learning attitude, I achieved a TOEIC band score of 620, which
is not high for other people, but for me, it is a hero from zero. It marks my first
milestone step, and I will certainly continue studying English after I arrive in
Taiwan. Of course, I know that my English is nowhere near perfect. I still have a
long way to go, but this little achievement will be my motivation to keep trying my
best and strive for greater success in the future.

When I studied abroad in the Philippines for a short time, I made a lot of friends in
Taiwan, they came from many parts of your country such as Taipei, Taichung, and
Kaohsiung. They shared with me about the way of education in Taiwan, which
impressed and surprised me. Undeniably, Taiwan's education system has been
reaching international standards, providing various opportunities for foreign
students like me to study and experience. Through spread words and social media,
I know that this is a country which is rich in culture and tradition. Each city with a
modern look still keeps its antique beauty. Especially, what makes me impress
most are the feedback of Taiwanese professors' enthusiasm and Taiwanese people's
hospitality from some of my friends living in Taiwan. That is the decisive factor
driving me to choose Taiwan as a must destination in my journey of broadening
my horizon. In terms of geography, as Taiwan is relatively close to Vietnam
compared with other nations in Europe and America, I can easily go back and
forth.
Regarding universities, I was highly recommended to apply for your school, I-shou
University (ISU), which is among the top universities in Taiwan having reputed
MBA course. Having a chance to practice and study in one of the most prestigious
academies of Taiwan is my insatiable desire. I am determined to study here,
approach the excellent methods, cooperate with outstanding students all over the
world as well as learn from great professors who are experts in this field, which
will nurture my career goals, deepen my understandings of English linguistics and
its methodology. Besides, ISU has outstanding quality with acceptable tuition fees
in comparison to other top universities in the world and the living cost in Taiwan is
affordable. Furthermore, I am, myself, a business-conscious person who is
passionate about adopting new skills, and studying at ISU will give me a chance to
learn Chinese which I have been into since I was in high school. In the current
globalized world, along with academic knowledge, we should be equipped with
foreign languages. I believe if I can make a chance to study in ISU, I will try my
best to pursue the master course and practice Chinese as much as I can.

In terms of social activities, I will arrange my hectic schedule to visit and explore
the hidden charming beauty of Taiwan, taste the most stunning food such as 鳳梨
酥 , 臭 豆 腐 , admire the elegance of 梅 花 , and hear the most interesting stories
from the vendors. In addition, as an active volunteer, I will take part in social
activities as many as I can to express my gratitude to Taiwan. I study in the
Philippines, and I regularly did good deeds such as visiting and giving gifts to
homeless children in Catholic orphanages in a charity tour of my language
academy. I will do similarly to show my thanks to Taiwan.

After graduation, I would like to continue the mission that I was born for, doing
business. I will be a global worker and later will pursue the position of a manager,
working in international corporations. Maybe I will become the bridge to connect
and push commerce between two countries, Vietnam and Taiwan. Furthermore, the
values I would like to create are not limited in any organizations. They should be
across different spatial and temporal confines. As a successful manager, I will urge
my organization to create more social benefits such as charitable contributions, to
make our community better. Besides, my intention is to bring my knowledge
which I have acquired in Taiwan to share with my colleagues. Vietnamese people
are intelligent and hard-working, but they have a big problem, the language barrier.
To be a global manager, I can contribute my humble effort to help my Vietnamese
staff to be able to work in an international environment and gain sense of
confidence when approaching foreigners.

In brief, I deeply appreciate the chance to study in Taiwan and get a slot in your
master's program. Thank you so much for your consideration. Please find my
curriculum vitae and other necessary documents enclosed with this letter. I am
looking forward to hearing from you soon.
