CYTOLOGIC OUTFIT
for laboratory MPW centrifuges

APPLICATION
CYTOSET deposit - supernatant fluid insert is intended
for dividing systemie fluids, separa�ng microscopic
elements from supernatant fluid. Examined
suspensions could be:
1) natural biologie fluids including cerebrospinal fluid,
exudates, transudates, joint fluid, vaginal discharge,
pus etc;
2) suspensions in the isotonic solu�ons of smears,
�ssue punctates, sputums, washings from the
bronchical tree etc.
These suspensions could be inves�gated depending
on purpose in order to:
3) get microscopic deposit and supernatant fluid from
the same sample of examined biologie suspension;
4) get the microscoping deposit only by means of
filtra�on of supernatant fluid to filter paper.
The cytologie ou�it is indispensable for medicine
and veterinary and can be used as well in the food
industry and technology.
CYTOSET insert func�on consist in ge�ng the
microscopic deposit using centrifuging of the
examined suspension put in the working container.
In result of this opera�on microorganic elements
of some specific shapes as heavier ones are thrown
away by the centrifugal force and deposited on
microscopic slide.
ADVANTAGES
• fast sedimenta�on of sells on the microscopic
slide using centrifuga�on with penetra�on of
supernatant fluid to filter paper;
• capability of recovery of supernatant fluid a�er
dep-osi�on of the cells on microscopic slide by
automa�c decanta�on into test-tube;
• protec�on of fluid against ge�ng into
centrifuga�on chamber - avoiding in this way
forma�on of aerosols;
• the inserts used as disposable items serve as well
as a protec�on against infec�ons;
• possibility of ge�ng various sizes (diameters)
of cells deposi�on areas on microscopic slide.

ACTION PRINCIPLE
While spinning the cyto inserts change their posi�on to honzontal
with simultaneous blockade of this posi�on with catches on the
