Alba of Denmark´s Autumn and Winter
collection 2019 is intensely inspired by
the very first creations. Reflections on
the first handmade spencer dress, made
for one special little girl, Alberte, by her
creative and loving mother. This whole
Alba universe started out with Majken
wanting to create long lasting clothes
in vibrant colors and playful designs.
Today she is still designing unique styles
for her own children and for yours.

Back in 2010 – when I was in the middle of my architecture
studies - my husband Kristoffer and I were expecting our
first child, Alberte.

With this new, exciting project ahead, my creative mind

just went on a journey of its own. Flashbacks from designs
of my own childhood and ideas for new styles just kept on
popping up in my head. So I had to give it a try and make
a few pieces of my own…

And this is how it all started.

A few pieces turned into a collection. A hobby turned into

a production line.

Alba of Denmark was born.

We believe that children´s wear should be fun. It should

leave you and your kids happy – encouraging imagination
and adventure.

We also believe that every child has the right to wear

unique and responsible clothes that allows kids to be kids.

Today, we have four children of our own.

We design for them - and for yours.
