Dear Ma’am

Please consider this letter as my intent to apply for a teaching position in your established
institution. Given my qualifications, I believe that I am qualified to teach in your school.

I graduated last October 2016 from Saint Joseph College in Maasin City, Southern Leyte with
bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and passed the Licensure Examination for
Teachers in March 2017. To continue develop myself academically, I also took up 43 units in
English subjects at Lake Lanao College Incorporated (LCCI). I also had my NCII in Bread and
Pastry Production.

Though I haven’t had a teaching experience yet, I believe that I am ready to take the
responsibilities of a teacher as I have already equipped myself with skills and learnings
which I have gained through the series of lectures I attended in the graduated school and in
different seminars and trainings I attended in the past

I chose to submit my application in your school as my colleagues told me that you provide a
very good opportunity to your teachers to hone their skills and to improve themselves by
participating in various professional development workshops and trainings in and out of the
school.

I am hoping that you will give me an opportunity to have my first teaching experience in
your reputed school. Thank you for considering my application. I am waiting for your
positive response.
