Jungkook was born on 1 st September 1997 in Busan , in South Korea .

He has an older brother named Junghyun ( Korean : 정휸 ), born in 1995.

Jungkook holds a black taekwando belt . He learned break dance in fifth grade. In 7 th year Jungkook
learned B-boying in a club where he went with his friends.
After graduating in February 2013, he was unable to attend high school due to his early preparation.
He graduated from a performance high school in Seoul in March 2014, a year later.
Jungkook attended Baek Yang Middle School and Seoul School of Performing Arts.
On February 7, 2017, he graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul 1 . The event was
celebrated with all members of BTS.
He is currently studying at Global Cyber University in the Department
of Broadcasting and Entertainment .

When Jungkook was younger, his dream was to become a badminton player . During his first year of
high school, he finally decided to become a singer listening to songs from G-
Dragon (including HeartBreaker ).
At the age of 13, Jungkook participates in an audition called Superstar K3 . However, he was
eliminated before the final elimination round because of the "lack of emotion in his dance" according
to Bang Si Hyuk PD, CEO of BigHit . However, he receives offers from eight different talent agencies
on the way back ( JYP , Cube , Entertainment , Big Hit Entertainment , Starship , FNC,
Woolim) 2 . He decides to choose Big Hit Entertainment , where his future comrade RM was also a
trainee; to see him in person was the reason for his choice for this company 2.
In 2012, at the age of 14, he was sent to Los Angeles and trained in a famous dance
academy [Laquelle?] Where he learned several types of dance including urban style, Movement
Lifestyle , feminine style. and various other styles.

Bangtan Boys [ edit | change the code ]

He signed with Big Hit Entertainment and became a member of the Bangtan Boys . He debuted with
the group on June 13, 2013 and released his first song No More Dream which is part of the album 2
Cool 4 Skool . He was then 15 years and is in the 8 th year.
Jungkook is the lead vocalist , the lead dancer and a sub-rapper of the band. He also co-wrote and
co-produced some songs. He is the youngest of the group and is therefore nicknamed Maknae .
The song Begin , from the album Wings (2016), sung solo by Jungkook, is dedicated to other
members 3 . He explained that the song told how his journey began at the age of 15 years and it was
a way for him to thank the other members for helping him become the person he is today 4 .
The BTS documentary : Burn The Stage is behind the scenes of the " Wings World Tour " where
Jungkook almost fainted (as he was overworked), and had to be undergoing respiratory assistance
immediately after the concert in Chile to avoid hospitalization 5 .

Jungkook collaborated with other Korean singers as well as political leaders for the song One Dream
One Korea . This song portrays the relationship between South Korea and North Korea as well as
the nostalgia for the unification of both nations. In addition, Jungkook was featured in Jo Kwon's
music video I'm Da One in 2012 with V , J-Hope , Suga and Jin .
Jungkook has also appeared on many TV shows. He appeared in three episodes of 'BTS China Job'
in 2014. Two years later, he directed some TV projects including 'Flower Boy Bromance', 'Special
MC in Music Core' and 'National Idol Singing Contest'. Also in 2016, the singer is part of the "Flower
Crew" reality program with Jo Se-ho, Yoo Byung-jae and Ki Min-seok.
His favorite singers are IU , Justin Bieber , Troye Sivan , G-Dragon and Charlie Puth . [ ref. desired]
Jungkook with Jimin and V , was elected as one of 100 most beautiful faces in 2017, when it was
ranked 13th 6 . He also appears in several South Korean CFs (along with other members of his
group) such as SK Telecom , Puma , LG , Coca Cola and MBC Chiken ads.
On 6 January 2017 Jungkook shares a teaser of his cover of We Do not Talk Anymore (originally
song by Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez ) on the account Twitter of BTS . The full song was posted
on the band's YouTube channel on February 7, 2017 7 ,

Jungkook's studio is called GCF (Golden Closet Film / Studios). The name comes from the former
dormitory of Jungkook [ ref. desired] , which was essentially a large walk-in and the first part of his
nickname, Golden Maknae. This is where he recorded his blankets and more before moving to a
new studio.

Jimin was born on October 13 , 19953 in Busan , South Korea 4 and has a younger brother, Park Ji-
hyun 4 . He studied at the Busan High School of Arts where he practiced modern dance 5 before
joining the High School of Arts of Korea in the company of V and RM.
He joined Big Hit Entertainment in 2011 after an audition, noticed by his interpretation of the song I
Have a Lover 6 , and then officially commits to the path of singer-dancer by integrating Bangtan
Boys group into his agency.

In July 2012, he appears in the music video for Party (XXO) group GLAM 7 . On June 12, 2013, Jimin
started as a member of the band Bangtan Boys with the release of the album 2 Cool 4
Skool 8 . While they are gaining popularity with their first titles such as No More Dream - which is
also their first single 1 , 9 - Jimin is graduating from high school in February 2014, and marks the event
with the release of the song 95 Graduation , in partnership with V 10 .

Composition
On December 25, 2014, an audio video is published on the chain YouTube group in which Jimin
and Jungkook sing Christmas Day , a Korean version of Mistletoe to Justin Bieber 11 , written by
Jimin for Slow Rabbit 12 .
For The Most Beautiful Moment in Life mini-album , Part 1 , released in April 2015, he is also
involved in composition by participating in the writing of the song Boyz with Fun 13 .
Jimin is the main composer of Lie , song for the album Wings published October 10, 2016 14 .

In July 2016, Jimin made various appearances on certain stages: one on that of MBig TV Celebrity
Bromance 15 then on July 30, 2016, like the special MC of the program Show! Music Core ,
accompanied by Jungkook 16 . The following month, he participated in the God's Workplace variety
show with J-Hope 17 . The program brings the motto "we sell everything and nothing" and revolves
around celebrities who become clerks 18 .
In November 2016, he played alongside the other members of BTS the mini-drama Flower Boys
Bangtan High School 19 , then in December he performs a dance alongside Lee Tae-min in 2016
KBS Song Festival 20 .
In January 2017, Jimin participated in the King of Mask Singer 21 celebrity panel program .
