things found in an equipment room. Though “False Alarms” can happen, as Sir
Joey told us, it is better to be ready than never.

` On the third day, I went to office early together with my classmate and one
USL student trainee because Engr. Manahan called the three of us to come and
assist him. We went to Bulanaw, Tabuk to do another restoration of the site. The
site is down because of a wire that is removed from the RBS (Radio Base Station)
he simply attach the wire back to the RBS then do some test on Mini Link Craft and
at the same time he teach us the basic on how to use it.

On the next day, I volunteered together with the three trainee to go with
Engr. Ramos and give him a hand. We visited three sites, Dadda and
Namabbalan to check if there is an alarm then Libag to test the 3G and FDLTE TX.
Engr. Ramos showed us how to test the 3G and FDLTE by using a specific tester.
Engr. Ramos informed us that they do some test because they want to know if the
required bandwidth that is in the work order is reach by that site. Another one that
we are testing is the throughput. If the throughput failed, the site did not reach
the bandwidth required. The following day all OJT helped in the office work.

The ninth day was a very tiring day, because in here we went to Nambaran

hours for the tower is located on peek of mountain. We do alarms clearing here
` because the generator set is not automatically working. Engr. Manahan told us
that we need to replace the fan of the outdoor Radio Base Station (RBS) alarm
and ordered us that we will perform the activity.

The last day of my second week, I together with my three co-Trainee

students went to Iguig, Cagayan to assist Engr. Manahan and perform a 3G and
FDLTE TX testing. He then ask who knows how to crimp a LAN cable and I
immediately volunteered because I already knew and performed crimping. After
crimping, the cable is functional and then used it permanently at the site. At that
time I felt so proud about my work and it became one of my achievement in my
On-The-Job Training.
