The conclusion of this study is that there has been a vertical change in the community of Kelurahan Kandri before and after being a tourist village in the economic, social and cultural sectors. This change occurs in all layers of society, from farmers to entrepreneurs, causing changes in the social structure of society. The socio-cultural changes experienced by the people of Kelurahan Kandri occurred because there were factors that encouraged the emergence of change. The existence of these factors of change posed a positive and negative impact on the socio-cultural changes of Kelurahan Kandri community, thus changing the lives of the people from the traditional to the modernization. From these conclusions, it is suggested that every development carried out should consider the socio-cultural conditions of the local community, because it is feared that the indigenous people will be marginalized and disappear if the development is not balanced with the preservation of the culture and social conditions of the community.
