JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLE: PROCUREMENT SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities:-

- Manage & monitor all purchases (PO generation based on PR submitted) within
assigned scope to ensure its delivery within agreed SLA (“Service Level
Agreements”)
- Liaison with related stakeholders/departments to understand specific needs and to
coordinate item sourcing activities (end-to-end) from PO to goods delivery &
payment
- Conduct local & international vendor/supplier assessment (including but not limited
to assessing profile, production capacity, available new technology, product quality,
and commercial offer & payment terms), supplier comparison, and propose to
onboard/recruit new supplier
- Study on whole supply chain for each specific product (including logistics cost,
importation procedure, and estimated turnaround time) and perform negotiation to
ensure certain cost saving for the organization
- Recommend best available local suppliers for any adhoc request by management
- Forecast price and market trend as additional inputs to make purchase
planning/decision
- Engage in improving related operation workflow
- Attend related meetings (internal & external) and produce meeting minute
- Produce relevant reports (cost saving, recruitment, production, PO&PR record) for
the Management
- Coordinating/holding Director’s appointment schedule and other admin work
