WATER-REPELLENT, LOVE ABSORBENT COAT

PROJECT BY:
JAN AUBREY GAYLE CAMPANTERO
MA. ALYANNA CASTILLO

I. Introduction
Rainy season start from the month of June and lasts till October. This idea came up when
many students in school the Guimbal National High School showering in the rain unwantedly
since first day of class when it is raining. The students with the same faces who do not have
raincoat or umbrella are the students who are always in the school clinic. Same problem
encountered outside the school. Maybe some of them got sick. Not knowing but prevention is
always better than cure. An idea came up which will offer a free raincoat to whom needs it. We
know that we will have limited raincoat and much money will involve so as it is our
responsibility to make this propose project successful, we think of a sentence that will make this
project last longer and test people humility. Outside the building we will put a big poster saying
“If you have none get one, if you have two leave one”.
The United Nations Human Settlements Programme offers shelter and social services;
urban management; environment and infrastructure and focuses on the information about human
settlements condition and trends. We are confident enough that we will reach the mission of your
agency to make the people live in a better life.
Giving raincoats for people who needs it will make their life better. They will start
thinking that they are being treasured and have importance in this society. They will make their
best to live life so that they can pass on the kindness that given to them and that will lead people
lives settled.
II. Purpose/Need
Raincoats are often used as protection during rainy days. Same as umbrellas, but the only
difference is that you can wear this thing to protect your entire body from getting wet. Sounds
handy right? For example, on stormy weather, you cannot use an umbrella because of the heavy
wind. This is the reason why raincoats are widely used. Raincoats or slickers are usually made
from a waterproof fabric that allows you to wear it during rainy days without getting wet. The
water will just flow through the material and will not penetrate. Sometimes it is usually
combined with rain pants to make a complete rain suit. Raincoats came to trend during the early
19th century. But considering its purpose, people are wearing it today during rainy days and wet
season. It is a great protective gear that everyone could have (Cambridge Raincoats, 2019). Our
said project will keep or customer warm.
