Digital Video Content Ideas
CONCEPT 1: Hairstyle for every mood

Artists connect with people across age groups and cultures.

Musicians are carriers of heartfelt communication which is why some of the
most followed social media accounts belong to musicians.
They inspire people to have their own style and also express their style through
their music and hair.

The popular music of our day reflects the rapidly

changing pop culture. Similarly the dressing sense
and groomed outlook reflect the personality of the
person. Which is why an individual can change their
hairstyle to reflect their changing taste in music.
Concept note
a) Musician – A musician changes his hairstyle according to their moods and the TYPE of
music that he/she plays. An influential YouTube musician will be enacting in this video.
Visuals : The scene opens to a pair of hands taking out a Gatsby and applying it on a face.
Setting power and shine effect will be shone while applying. There will be another panel
called “Effect on Mood – 100%”. This person takes out a comb and combs it into a
pomade style. The person turns around and sits in a chair, in front of a piano. He starts
playing “Furelise”.

The camera starts zooming into his face and his hair. Suddenly, he looks directly at the camera, and
starts screeching, gets up from his stool and pushes the piano aside, making the background with the
push of the piano. He spikes his hair with his hands and heavy music starts playing. He puts a booted
foot on the stool, grabs a guitar out of frame and starts playing “Sadda Haqq”, heavy metal rock
style. The camera zooms out for a second and the guy starts headbanging. Suddenly he stops and
flattens his hair with his fingers yet again, to give himself an emo look, sits down on that stool that he
had placed his foot on, and starts playing “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”.

b) Dancer – A dancer changes his hairstyle according to his moods

and the TYPE of dance forms that he is willing.
c) Artist – An artist changes his hairstyle according to his moods and
the Type of artist

various products.
Research shows that confidence and a will to achieve a
competitive edge over peers to aid career growth, are few other
reasons why men invest in the grooming industry.
Also due to the rising disposable income, they are willingly
spending some serious money on grooming products.
This is a notable shift from the times when men would utilise
women’s beauty products owing to lack of better substitutes, and
followed it up with a basic, minimal grooming routine.
Concept note
A guy (can be a YouTuber - an influencer in the humor
genre) with a wimpy hairdo leads the lifestyle of a loser.
The scene opens to a boss passing a file to an
employee, who passes to another, to another and
finally the file gets thrown to the person with a moppy
hairdo who also has a meek, insecure personality. He
tries to pass it to someone else, but gets growled at, by
the person sitting next to him, making him unable to
pass on the file.
At a crossroad, we see him bargaining. The seller,

But, instead of reducing prices, the shopkeeper starts
increasing the price.
Dejected, the guy starts walking down the street and
suddenly, is interjected by a whistle and stops to spot
a super swag dude with drooling charm. “It is not you.
It is your hair.” Saying so, he throws our loser dude a
Gatsby - “Twist, dab, apply.”
Now, the tables turn. Everything changes dramatically
with each scene depicting a different hairstyle.
Concept 3: Bros for Life

Emotional content on social media generates up to 25% higher

than those that do not possess the emotional quotient.

Moreover a close friend reduces stress, and generates an

emotional quotient that leads you to trust and faith. It gives you a
sense of confidence and makes you feel better about yourself.

So in the scenario the best friend is being replaced by Gatsby and

this portrays that Gatsby can also be your go to friend with all
those qualities of a best friend which is - reliable, trust worthy, etc.
Concept note

2 guys – one is a suave dude Raj, one is a fat person Roshan

who is best buddies with this suave person, and tries to use him in
every situation. (Reference- Partner movie: Salman and Govinda
pair)
The chubby guy always relies on the dude for everything.
One fine day, when our chubby chap is all set for a date. The
dude denies to accompany him stating agitatedly that he need
not be there. The chubby chaps pleads him by complimenting
his style-courage-confidence. To this, the dude says. “Abey
Chote, Tujhe meri nahi, iski zarurat hai”
And throws him his secret of swag : A gatsby hair wax pack.

It is not necessary for a Hair Style to turn out to be as good as imagined.

Hair Styling is subjective - what looks good on one person’s visage, may not look good on another.

Choosing the perfect Hair Style for the day, that defines your persona, depends on multiple factors: Hair
Texture, Face Shape, Facial Features and the list goes on.

In most cases, a hair stylist plays a crucial role with respect to your styling.

However, self-styling is the best way for a person to explore one’s personality.

This is where our concept steps in by helping you make your own decisions regarding the hair style that suits
you the best.

Appearances are important, and it is the Hair that can make or break it for
men.
And when it comes to hair care, most of the men don’t realize how important
Hair Sprays are.
Consumers are not aware that Hair Spray is something that gives the final touch
to the hairstyle after having applied the Hairstyling wax.
Hair Spray along with Hair Styling Wax!

And, to tell this to the consumers, digital video is the way to go.
Videos increase brand association by 139%.
Viewers retain 95% of a message when they watch it in a video compared to 10%
when reading that same message in text.
Unboxing is a genre of videos on YouTube where people quite literally unbox a
product to get a feel for it.
However, most of the
unboxing videos on YouTube
are very similar.

Now, it’s time to treat

unboxing in a way that is
different from a typical
specimen.
CONCEPT

The scene opens to a bright sunlight, with a voice over that starts
with the line, “For eons man has come up with different styles for
their body hair - arm hair, leg hair, chest hair, nose hair, and just, hair.
So, they came up with something, well, innovative - hair grease. But
alas, that left them with a black face….literally”. A guy with a
deadpan face is shown with a mopey hairdo.
Then, came Gatsby (visuals shift to the same guy, with a deadpan
face, taking out a Gatsby out from a box, that has lit up from the
inside). The guy gets a small smile on his face. He twists the bottle
open, takes a swipe of the cream, and smears it on his palms.
Applying it in an upwards motion, his smile gets bigger. He makes a
move to get up. The voice over warns him, “uh, uh, uh, you are not
done yet!” and the box starts shining again. He digs his hand inside
the box again, and finds a hair spray. He spritzes lightly on his hair.
And the voice over finally tells him, “Ah! You are finally perfectly set.”
