Dear candidate,

On the basis of the results of ICAR's 24th All India Entrance Re-Examination for Admission to the Master's degree programmes in
Agricultural Universities (AUs), conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on 1st July, 2019 and subsequent to your participation in
online counselling, choice filling and allotment of seat available at your merit rank and category, you are hereby provisionally
recommended for admission to the Master's degree programme for the Academic Session 2019-20 as per details given below:

You are, hereby, advised to report to the Registrar of the above allotted University for document verification, deposition of fee and
seeking admission, as per the time schedule mentioned in the letter for counselling uploaded on ICAR website (www.icar.org.in/www.
icarexam.net) along with your result. The candidate may seek admission only during the Academic Session for which the examination has
been conducted. He/she is not entitled to claim for admission in other Academic Sessions / subsequent years based on this year's
examination. Please note that for all practical purposes, you will be governed by the rules and regulations of the admitting University.

To get ICAR- PG Scholarship, the candidate must pursue Master’s degree from an AU in a state different from the one where the AU of
his /her Bachelor’s degree is located, i.e. AUs of Bachelor’s degree and Master Degree should be located in different states. This
condition, however, shall not apply for admission to NDRI Karnal where admissions to 100% seats of Bachelor’s degree programme are
made on the basis of All India Entrance Examination conducted by ICAR.

The non- PG Scholarship/NTS(PGS) candidates shall be eligible to get National Talent Scholarship (NTS) for two years provided they
join Master degree programme in an AU located in a state different from their state of domicile. For further details, the candidates may see
the Guidelines for NTS (2016) available at http://www.icar.org.in/files/FINAL Guidelines (GNTS)-26072016.pdf. Even the candidates
who do not want to avail NTS (PGS) have to mandatorily seek admission in an AU different from the one from where they have
graduated.

If at any time during the course of study programme, information furnished by you is found to be incorrect or misrepresentation/
concealment of facts, your admission would be cancelled forthwith and necessary action would be initiated against you by the admitting
University. Please note that once admission has been taken, no request for transfer to any other University/degree programme will be
entertained by the Council.

In case the candidate foregoes his/her admission (except request for auto-upgradation during the counselling) after depositing the
admission fee at the allotted AU, in such cases, the fee refund policy of the admitting university would prevail and no correspondence will
be entertained by the Council in this regard.

NOTE :
1. ICAR will allocate the candidate to the University, whereas the choice of the accredited College within the University allotted shall be
regulated by the University itself. The university will admit and place the candidates in accredited colleges and programmes only.
2. Scholarship allocation will be done after completion of online counseling. Eligible candidates will be intimated separately in this
