e‐Azam about his tour and meeting Brig. Nazir Ahmad.
“I had an opportunity of meeting Brig. Nazir Ahmad at Rawalpindi. As you
probably know he is the third senior Muslim officer in the Indian Army, and I am
told he is the outstanding Muslim officer. I told him I was going to mention his
name to you, as I considered you should make his acquaintance. In case you wish
to see him in the near future I have arranged with his General to give him leave to
come to Delhi, should you wish to see him. If you do, I suggest you write to him at
25 Brigade. Rawalpindi.”
