12.a ABC type A For Wood, Paper, Paints, Oil,

Solvant, LPG, Electric fires.
12.b DCP type D For Petrol, Paints, Oil, Solvant,
LPG, Electric fires.
12.c Water CO2 type W For Wood, Paper, Plastic fires.

12.d Mechanical Foam type F For Wood, Paper, Paints, Solvant,

Petrol, Solvant fires.
12.e CO2 type C For Electrical fires.

12.f Sand Bucket For Wood, Diesel, Transformer Oil

Note:
1 Generally ABC type and CO2 type fire extinguishers selected first and others are selected as per possible fire due to
usage of the area.
2 The capacity is based on the common practice in India.
3 For special usage like LPG facility, Electrical room, HSD Yard, appropriate requirement of various agencies including the
Fire Officer to be followed
