SY 2018-2019
The Union of Social Sciences and Philosophy is a co-curricular organization of the Social Sciences and Philosophy
Department composed of Political Science, Public Administration, Social Sciences and Philosophy majors. The structure of
The Union of Social Sciences and Philosophy is guided by Parliamentary Democracy, wherein the organizational strength is
developed through the exercise of the Executive Council, which serves as the Executive Branch of the Government and the
Council of Representatives as the Legislative Body.

OBJECTIVES: In connection to the aforementioned, the objectives are:

1. to motivate its members to participate in all academic and non-academic activities of the organization
and the school;
2. to safeguard the common interest, promote the general welfare and protect the rights of all its members;
3. to conduct activities that shall promote socio-political, cultural and religious awareness among all
members;
 4. to hold programs and activities that shall transform the members into excellent, innovative, community
supportive and passionate for Christ’s mission as socio-political scientists and;
5. to instill the spirit of nationalism to its members, in order for them to become responsible Filipino
citizens.
